AUXILIARY POLICE PROGRAM AND VIPS VALUABLE VOLUNTEERS Volunteers provide precious time, insight, and valuable

resources to our community. In 2019, our 55 Auxiliary Police

Officers (APOs) contributed 20,432 volunteer hours and the 70

members of the Volunteers In Police Service (VIPS) contributed 8,500 volunteer hours. Also in 2019, our FCPD VIPS Program celebrated 20 years of serving the County. Thanks to the

outstanding volunteer work of our APOs, VIPS, and Chaplain Unit we are able to accomplish all that we do.

These men and women support our Department in numerous ways. They help keep the County safe by assisting with traffic control, devoting their time to sobriety checkpoints, taking

photographs, attending community events and much more. We are extremely thankful for their service and dedication.
