NATIONAL NIGHT OUT IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE! The first Tuesday in August is cause for celebration. This day marks National
Night Out, the largest Crime Prevention
event in Fairfax County. What is National Night Out? A night for neighbors to
come together as a way to promote
safer neighborhoods and foster positive relationships with law enforcement.
Events include pot luck dinners, ice cream socials, and pool parties. In 2019, our
officers joined the fun at 233 National
Night Out events. These events provide a great opportunity for communities to meet officers who work in their
neighborhood and a chance for officers
to learn more about the communities in which they serve.
