Our new First Vice-President
O
n November 17, the Board of Governors named Jennifer Jett, a Correspondent Governor, as First Vice-President after the resignation of Victor Mallet. Jett, who grew up in Arizona, has lived in Asia for more than 11 years. After spending three years in Beijing, she came to Hong Kong in 2010 to pursue a master’s degree in journalism at the University of Hong Kong. She is now senior staff editor at The New York Times, which she joined seven years ago as a copy editor for the International Herald Tribune. Jett has been a member of the FCC since 2013 and this is her second year on the Board. “We are all so grateful to Victor for his service to the Club, and I’ll do my best to live up to the high standard he set,” she said.
