13th place Adecco Or

Champions of the Catalonia Championship 5th place in the Spanish Championship

In the second year in the Second Division of basketball, Barça B achieved its main goal of training players for the first team in the future. Aleix Duran’s team competed in all the Adecco Or matches of the season but lack of experience was a determining factor as the Barça team finished in penultimate position. The growth of the juniors Hakanson and Marc Garcia was the best news for a Senior B who demonstrated its potential by beating the Adecco Or champions (Andorra) and who finished with an overall score of 5 victories and 21 defeats.

Joan Braulio and his team completed a good season by obtaining the Catalonia Championship against Joventut. In the Spanish Championship held in Marín (Galicia), Barça were eliminated in the quarterfinals and finished fifth. One highlight of this season 2013/14 was the inclusion of Dedovic, Peno, Marc Garcia, Hakanson, Omeragic, Martínez and Vilà in the prestigious Mannheim Tournament –the equivalent to the World Cup of the category. Barça was the European team with the most players called up.
