Sometimes we get so busy with our calendars and schedules that we miss His instructions.
Today we will look at two sisters who had an opportunity to receive instructions…one of them “got it” and one needed some “reminding.”

Vs. 40 Martha was “distracted with ALL HER preparations.”
Jesus wasn’t wanting her SERVICE, He wanted to enjoy her STILLNESS.
We are so busy with the mundane that we miss the Messiah sitting in our living room.
Martha was so busy preparing stuff all around the Savior that she walked right past the worship of her Savior.

Welcome got in the way of worship.
“To-do” lists become less important in light of a daily sit-down with the Savior.
Ps. 139:23-24
Worship is a moment-by-moment opportunity to search the heart and mind of God and to be still long enough to allow Him the same pleasure.
