About Fay School • 2015-2016 Applying for Admission • There are two ways to apply to Fay School: you may apply online, or you may fill out a paper application and mail it to the Office of Admission. Visit fayschool.org/apply for both online and paper applications. • Day applicants should submit applications by February 1, 2016. Subsequent to that date, applications will be considered on a rolling basis, depending on available spaces. Admission decisions will be mailed on March 10, 2016 for all day applicants who meet the February 1 deadline. • Boarding applicants are considered on a rolling basis and may apply as soon as grades from the first term of the current school year are available. International applicants who would like to be considered in the first, priority round of decisions should complete their applications by December 15, 2015. • Testing: All applicants for grades 5-9 are required to take the SSAT or ISEE. All international applicants whose native language is not English are required to take the TOEFL or TOEFL, Jr. • U.S. Application Fee: $50 • International Application Fee: $100

Applying for Financial Aid • For the 2016-17 school year, Fay will award $2 million in need-based financial assistance to applicants at every grade level to families from a broad range of circumstances. • Grants are dependent on each family’s need and have ranged from 5% to 95% of the cost of tuition. • The financial aid application deadline is February 1, 2016.
