01 COURTYARD HOUSE
The brief was to re-design my home, which was iradicated due to ficititious catastroph. The site is located at Dubai, UAE. The aim of the project was to create a home to emphasize the harsh climate and to interagate to the landscape with open spaces.

CONCEPT
“
INTO THE OPEN”
The major concept of the residence shows how important is to connect space within the residence moreover to create an open space with enough privacy.
A series of central courtyard is provided, having access from all the spaces and interacts between public and private spaces.
The form of the residence is evolved from a basic cube by creating voids in it to provide open spaces and courtyards.

The brief was to design a cafe having an area of less than 50 sqm. The site is located at vellarakad, Thrissur , kerala. The cafe takes upto an area of 30 sqm on a slightly contoured site. The aim of the project was to create a space which interacts with the nature and provide a comfortable space within a confined area. The surrounding environment are highlighted in the site by offering varying views to the site.

CONCEPT “SOLID VOID”
The concept of the cafe is evolved from creating series of voids on a solid structure. These void spaces brings natural light to the closed interior and create a poetic play between light and shadow.
The form of the cafe is evolved from a basic cube by creating voids in it to provide openings.
The cafe takes upto an area of 30 sqm on a slightly contoured site. The cafe consists of a pantry area and seating spaces. The contoured area is used as the outdoor searing with access through series of stairs. The cafe is designed to imitate the topography and minimizing modifications on site. The surrounding environment is well integrated with the cafe.

The brief was to design a design campus by providing a space for users to live, grow and learn. The site of the design campus is located at Vellarakad, Thrissur, kerala. The aim of the project was to create a interactive space and emphasizing the movement in the spaces on the contoured site.

CONCEPT “MOVEMENT”
The concept of the hotel is emphasizing the MOVEMENT through different levels and functions of a space inorder to create an easy approach to the structure and interaction between people,space and the environment by providing a nature to the space.
The form of the hotel is developed by arranging each structure according to their functions.
