Cocept of Design Minimalist and functional teens room with divided user spaces as required by the client.

The design is adaptive to humid subtropical climate of the region and ensures shading but allowing the light to be a part of the design. The design was derived from user and rooms need and ensures a lively energy efficient design.

Minimalist

Programme Analysis Foldable glass doors which can be opened completely to create a sense of openness and continuity between outside and inside. When the foldable doors are open the now added shaded open space outside of the room can be a part of the room which will increase the usable room area.

The added shaded open space outside the room will have slidable aluminium louvers which will ensure: - shading from south sun.

- outside inside connectivity by sliding them open to rest of the open terrace.

Location Analysis The climate of the region is humid subtropical which required conscious design strategies to avoi heat gain from the south facing terrace but create a continuity between outside and inside.
