Densely Populated Settlement
3956 m2 | Final Project | Bandung | Education & Social Facility | 2024
Supervisor: Mohammad Jehansyah Siregar S.T., M. T., Ph. D.
Tools: AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, Figma
In densely populated residential areas, public open spaces are scarce, leaving children without adequate play facilities. This situation does not align with the guarantee of children's rights to have the opportunity to play. In West Java, children make up 33% of the total population, with 42% of them residing in crowded and slum areas. This issue demands special attention, as play is essential to children's lives, and the lack of play areas contradicts legal standards.
This project seeks to establish a public space for children in the densely populated Tamansari sub-district, providing them with opportunities to engage in positive extracurricular activities that enhance their cognitive and psychological development. The initiative aligns with the site's context and aims to optimize social facilities for the benefit of the densely populated communities.
SITE MICR ANALYSIS
vehicle lane
The site is traversed by a one-way vehicle lane and must be designed to prevent Traffic jams.
river has to optimize the adjacent Cikapundung River as a riverfront area.
vegetation
The existing site conditions are quite barren, so additional vegetation is needed
sun path the building has to be oriented southeastnorthwest
wind
The wind flows from southeast to northwest, so ventilation is optimized on the sides of the building perpendicular to the wind direction
noise
Buffer area is needed to mitigate noise
INNER COURTYARDS
CONTINUOUS RAMP
Integrating Landscape Element
The existing site condition currently lacks sufficient vegetation, yet natural elements are crucial for children's development. Therefore, resulting in a building integrated with natural elements through an inner courtyard on the second floor.
Waterfront Design
Responding to the site context adjacent to the Cikapundung River by creating facilities that can revitalize the front area of the Cikapundung River.

RAINWATER USE
Rainwater that has been purified and filtered will be channelled within the building and utilized for daily needs such as clean water, plant irrigation, and toilet use.
COLLECTION CONTAINER
Rainwater, amounting to 70% of the building's clean water requirement, which totals 94,500 liters, will be stored in 11 tanks, each with a capacity of 9,000 liters.

a collaboration project of 3 person | third-year form and structure studio |2023
Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Ir. Surjamanto Wonorahardjo, M.T.
Tools: AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, Figma
This project was completed within four weeks. In this project, my team elaborated the vector active system. Vector active system works through composition of compression and tension members or structure systems in coactive tension and compression. In this opportunity, along with my two teammates, we used space truss and flat truss system.

Framed Gallery
Second-year form and space design studio | Gallery | 2022
Supervisor: Tubagus Muhammad Aziz Soelaiman, ST., MA.
Model Making
Framed Gallery is an art museum that carries the concept of frames. It is inspired by works of art that are usually protected by frames. This art museum consists of 6 building masses with 1 mass acting as a landmark. The cone is reversed so that visitors can see footage of the landmark from inside the frame and on top of the building, creating a mysterious impression.
Framing
The mass is created by subtraction technique resulting in a height difference. All mass is subtracted to frame the landmarks.
This museum has circulation in a linear direction. Visitors are directed through smaller openings of the
