This canteen heavily influenced by nature element surrounds them. Emphasizing wood material, The Mechanical Engineering Canteen aim the user to relax after long day in Mechanical Engineering Department.

A growing house for a family - Completed 2020.

This house meant to be a growing house, which the user can expand it anytime they ready for addition of a family members. More to a vertical-growing-house, the user can add more rooms by changing the roof. This method taken because it considers land area limit.

Balai Aman; A Socio-technical Integrated Architecture

Balai Aman; A Socio-technical Integrated Architecture

Location: Satrio Wibowo, Tlogosari, Semarang

Located in a full and crowded area, Balai Aman meant to be a work training center for people surround them. This building also work as an evacuation area when disaster happens.

Description and Concept

This prayer room is a request from a close family who wanted a new design for their prayer room. The colors and elements in this design are inspired by the dominant color of their house which is brown and full by wood elements. Hopefully the color choice and elements can give the impression that humans should always be humble and create calm ambience when they want to have a dialogue with the Creator.

This commercial building is a fish market building, which is expected to be able to answer community problems due to increased carbon emissions around the site and as a public building that is unique and well integrated with its surroundings, both for the community and the environment

Location: Tanjung Mas, Tambak Rejo, Kecamatan Semarang Utara, Kota Semarang

Perspective Interior

Description

The site is located in the Tanjung Mas area, North Semarang District, Semarang City, Central Java.

Problem found inside the old market is, apparently market transfer from old area must be done. Old market already too crowded and has not very good access.

Another reason for design is so it can answer or deal with problems caused by increased carbon emissions, other aspects such as the old market area is very at risk of being submerged by tidal floods, access to the old market is quite difficult to pass, and the area is already prone to drowning.

Details and interior

Floating structure are something that will be considered in the future. Materials usage for this structure are nearly concrete-free. This meant to reduce carbon footprint aswell. Unique roof shape intended to give dynamics for a structure that located in the coastline, and open space within the market hopefully can reduce the smell.

BLAUBRARY (Blauran Library) ; A Catalyst Inside Kampung Life

Location: Jl. Blauran 3 (in front of SMP 4 Surabaya)

This public building is a library building that can be a balance between the kampung area and the surrounding urban area.

Description

Kampung Blauran is one of the densely populated areas around the Tunjungan area. With quite narrow streets, houses that are attached to one another, there is almost no area for residents to just breathe from the hustle and bustle of the village.

From this problem, what can be seen in this area is the lack of areas for residents to gather communally.

The Blauran Library is an idea for the Kampung Blauran community as a public facility that encompasses the village community and as a liaison, especially in areas that lack special areas to carry out activities with the community.

The color choice, roof shape, and mass configuration meant to mimics surrounding environment which in this case : Kampung.

A Wind House

House design request by a friend- 2022

Description and Concept

This request from a friend wanted the prospective house to be redesigned from the existing one and expanded by adding a floor to the backyard of the house. Floor additions include a household member's room and a drying room with the use of PVC on the roof. So that the drying room will remain bright without direct exposure to sunlight. Room design and placement considerations are also taken from the client's personal wishes.

Samarang N.I.S ; Reborn

A railway museum - 2022

As one of the important cities in the history of Indonesian railways, several important places in Semarang were lost due to tidal floods. One of them is the Samarang N.I.S station, which was the first station in Indonesia, but this station has disappeared due to age and soil which lost due to flooding. And Samarang N.I.S; Reborn has the hope of returning lost memories and speculating what will happen if in the future there is no more solid ground to step on.

Concept Sketch

Separated masses means to represent nowadayslike a modern peron in a station. Meanwhile the substance, or the inside of the buildings helps us to recall something from the past.
