Fassa Sport & Outdoor with its 4 Sport Check Point offices specializing in outdoor activities, does represents a closeknit union of all those associations and free-lance sport experts operating in Val di Fassa, with the aim of promoting sport activities with passion and enthusiasm. You will be offered the opportunity to discover and learn about our fascinating places and share with us the unrivalled experiences you will enjoy in our mountains. Val di Fassa Card

Take advantage of all the discounts your accommodation provider has to offer thanks to Val di Fassa Card. What is it? It is a card that allows you to enjoy significant discounts during your stay in Val di Fassa.

How can I get it? You first need to be a guest at a hotel, apartment or campsite

associated with Val di Fassa Tourism Board; then you need to request it to your accommodation provider, who will give you the card and any relevant information. What are the benefits? If you are a guest of the accommodation facilities associated with Val di Fassa Tourism Board, you can have following discounts by showing this card: - Most of the activities shown in this booklet! Check the activities with this symbol, you’ll find whether you can get discounts with your Val di Fassa Card. - Special price conditions for PANORAMA PASS (see following page). - 1 € reduction on the one-way ticket of Bike Express, the special shuttle bus service for bikers operating along Fassa and Fiemme cycle route. - Free entry at the Ladin Museum in Vigo di Fassa. 1€ discount at the First World War Exhibition in Moena and at the Permanent Exhibition about Great War at Pordoi Pass. Panorama Pass

Your lift pass to the Dolomites! 300km of views to be enjoyed with a single pass! What is it? Panorama Pass is a card that gives you unlimited access to Val di Fassa lifts and all buses operating within the province of Trento and on Dolomitic passes during the summer.

Where can I buy it? It can be purchased at the main lifts’ ticket-offices and in every tourism information office of the valley.

How much does it cost? You can get discounts on Panorama Pass by

showing your Val di Fassa Card. Panorama Pass is available in three different versions: - 3 days out of 6 (the use of the lifts is allowed 3 days within the consecutive 6-day period of validity of the pass): Adults € 45,00 (full price € 55,00); juniors (born after 04.06.2000) € 25,00 (full price € 31,00); children (born after 04.06.2008) for free. - 6 days out of 6 Adults € 64,00 (full price € 74,00); juniors (born after 04.06.2000) € 40,00 (full price € 46,00); children (born after 04.06.2008) for free. - 7 days out of 13 (the use of the lifts is allowed 7 days within the consecutive 13day period of validity of the pass): Adults € 74,00 (full price € 86,00); juniors (born after 04.06.2000) € 47,00 (full price € 55,00); children (born after 04.06.2008) for free. Reduction on the entry tickets of Dòlaondes water centre by showing your Panorama Pass.

In order to get children and juniors’ reductions, you have to show a personal document.

Enjoy a week in an healthy Alpine setting! Our expert Territorial guides will help you to discover the wonders that our natural environment and our mountains have to offer. The Mountain Guides will accompany you with passion and experience in the more difficult excursions.

Excursions are divided into different levels: EASY: easy walks suitable for everybody with no altitude gap. INTERMEDIATE/EASY: walks and excursions with very low altitude gap up to max 300m. INTERMEDIATE: more challenging hiking that require more hours of walking and a more important altitude gap up to 700m. DIFFICULT: definitely more challenging excursions for those who want to face great hikes from 700m up to 1000m and walk up to 6/7 hours.

“VIAC CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL SHOPS” Easy walk through the history, culture and curiosities of Moena, with stops in the “historical shops”. Meeting point: 3.00 p.m. at Sport Check Point Moena Return: 6.00 p.m. Note: suited for strollers

THE FAIRIES’ WOOD WITH SENSORIAL PATH Excursion to discover the undergrowth and its wellbeing philosophy with the “barefooting”. Experience regenerating sensations by walking barefoot in the wood. MY FIRST VIA FERRATA The Mountain Guides will lead you and teach you the right approach to the via ferrata, starting from the easiest and most panoramic routes of the valley, such as the Roda de Vael, in the group of Catinaccio, or the Bepi Zac, at San Pellegrino Pass. Meeting Point: 8.00 a.m. Sport Check Point Pozza or Moena Return: about 4.00 p.m. Altitude gap: ↑ about 700m, ↓ about 700m. Note: Excursion with a limited number of participants (max 4 persons). Lift ticket not included.

SMALL LATEMAR SADDLE AND LABYRINTH Starting from Passo Costalunga demanding climb to reach the panoramic Latemar cross. After the descent along a gravel, we will stop for lunch on the Latemar meadows near the labyrinths. Meeting point: 8.30 a.m. at Passo Costalunga, departure of chairlift Pra dei Tori Return: about 4.30 p.m.

THE FAIRY LAKE AND THE COW MILKING An easy walk around the enchanting Lake San Pellegrino, ending in a mountain farm, where we will try to milk the cows and drink their fresh milk. THE SELLA WATERFALLS with a PANORAMIC APERITIF High altitude excursion across the woods to discover 3 spectacular waterfalls, we will then descend to Soracrepa where we will have a genuine aperitif in a traditional mountain hut, while enjoying a breathtaking view over the valley. VIA FERRATA “DELLE SCALETTE” AND LAKE ANTERMOIA Starting from the Refuge Gardeccia, we will cross the Larsech group, where some rope-equipped stretches and ladders will help us to reach the Antermoia hollow and its spectacular lake. EXCURSION SAS DA LE DOUDES and VALACIA SADDLE An awesome trekking to discover one of the wildest and most secluded places of Val di Fassa. After a steep panoramic ascent we will reach the Valacia saddle. We will then walk down a scenic path, crossing high altitude meadows dotted with rhododendrons and mountain streams. In the last part we will climb on easy rocks and along a snowy ridge leading up to Punta Penia, at an altitude of 3342 m. HIGH MOUNTAIN CLICK High altitude excursion accompanied by a territory expert, who will lead us in the most enchanting locations of our valley. A photographer will teach us how to use our cameras or smartphones to take spectacular pictures and amaze all our friends. We will learn the little tricks of landscape, macro and sport photography.

EXTREME DIFFICULT LEVEL VIA FERRATA (Ex: Piazzeta, Magnifici 4, Eterna, etc.) Ferrata or climbing ?! It’s hard to say which category the extreme via ferratas belongs to. Very vertical and physical passages make it much more similar to a climbing route, since the use of holds for hands and feet becomes indispensable. It is important to have a good technical and physical preparation.

ADEL climbing hall The climbing hall “ADEL” is dedicated to the 4 Fassa Alpine Rescue volunteers who died on the 26th December 2009 in the avalanche of Val Lasties (Alessandro Dantone, Diego Perathoner, Erwin Riz and Luca Prinoth). Features: The brand-new, cuttingedge climbing facility is composed of an external part equipped for top roping and lead climbing, divided into two sectors: the first one is characterized by an height of 17 m and a climbing surface of more than 600 sq m; the second one, patented for speed climbing contests, is 15 m high with a climbing surface of 150 sq m. The indoor part hosts a wide boulder area of 260 climbing square meters and a new indoor climbing hall.

Tandem Paragliding Tandem paragliding flights are accessible to everyone as no specific training is required. Instructors with twenty years of experience will accompany in this particular flight over the valley surrounded by breathtaking views. Once you have taken off from the gentle slope of Col Rodella (2450 m) the glide towards Campitello (1440m) will be an unforgettable experience! FLIGHT TYPOLOGIES: Classic flight (glide): take-off from Col Rodella followed by a wonderful panoramic gentle glide down to Campitello. Long flight (thermals): take-off from Col Rodella and exploitation of thermals (upward air currents) to amazingly fly toward Canazei, over the mountain groups of Pordoi and Sella, landing in Campitello. Vigo di Fassa This wonderful riding school situated in Vigo di Fassa, in the Ciarlonch area, offers full or half-day horse and pony rides. You will also come across weird animals such as strange goats, donkeys and lamas.

Nordic walking Nordic Walking: a gentle way to get in shape in touch with nature. This activity does represent a mix of wellbeing, soft movements up to more dynamic exercises, suited both for beginners and for more athletic people. You will walk along the most enchanting tracks of our valley accompanied by a Nordic Walking instructor, that will provide you with specific poles. Everybody will enjoy such an healthy, regenerating sport!

On Tuesday and Thursday

NORDIC WALKING LESSONS Excursions with beginner, medium or advanced lessons, according to the participants’ level. Ice skating A place where great hockey champions face in major league competitions during the winter, where world famous figure skaters perform in Ice Galà evenings and where the magic of ice skating can be experienced!
