For this class we were told to create our own magazine. A piece all of our own creation. At first it seemed over whelming, it seemed like something I could never picture myself doing. However as I began to create this work I found a new passion of mine.
Growing up I used to always love to write. I remember in second grade my teacher gave me a notebook with a little note on the front page when I moved to Texas all those years ago. The end of the note is something I will always remember she said “ I cant wait to read all that you write one day.”
As I have gotten older I have fallen away from the passion and moved towards the passion of content creation. In ways of marketing, fashion and life style However with this project it has relighted the spark I have for writing! I cant wait to see where this rediscovered passion will lead me!

The common misconception is that fashion week is only important for the season that follows the show (Spring) however in the show they review ALL FOUR SEASONS. So that means that this show is not only relevant for a short period but it sets the tone for fashion trends all year long!
So the long-awaited answer what does fashion week have to do with you?
Fashion Week helps the common fashion spectator to see what pieces to invest in for this next year. I know for myself I find myself longing for clothing pieces as the seasons come and when I finally come around to buying them, it is too late because the season is already over. For example, have you ever seen a certain style or clothing piece you loved trending all over the internet, and then when you finally convinced yourself that you should buy it, it becomes either too cold or too warm for you to wear it?
Knowing what will come for each season allows you to be the one who stands out and starts the trends.
Does Fashion Week tell us the exact pieces we will see for the upcoming year? No, not exactly However, they lead us in the right direction as to what new items that come up will be highly popular. Fashion Week gives you hints about colors, shapes, and styles that will likely be produced by smaller brands such as Nike, Aritzia, Abocombie and so many more!

Dressing Like a Main Character
Oftentimes when people start to explore the world of fashion they don't know where to start. It could be that they don't know how to create their own personal style or that they don't know where a good starting point should be for any wardrobe. However, I've come to help simplify this problem for you all

People often get lost in the idea of it all, and often think that revamping your closet and your style is something that happens instantly But in reality, it is something that is developed over a lifetime. So I took the liberty to interview some people I look up to in the sense of fashion.
My friend Tara who I personally look up to a lot in the fashion industry. She is so well versed in the sense of media and fashion. She is always so good at taking trends and making them personalized to her. She is the perfect person to talk to if you are trying to develop your own personal look and style.
“What are the perfect basics for any closet?”
Tara gives us this list here:
1
Solid pant (something that fits you well, can be jean, cargo or even slacks just something that fits you well)
2
Set of neutral t-shirts ( Aritzia, Skims, Abercmbie etc.)
3
White sneakers
Think about it before any artist can start working on art work the first thing they need is their base and tools to complete sed art. Speaking of tools, that leads me to my next question.
8
“Are Accessories important? How can Tara: “ Yes!
They can literally transform an outfit. You could wear the most basic outfit but if you have the right accessories it can change it and personalize it. Like everyone is wearing that white Abercrombie shirt so how are you accessorizing it to make it different. My biggest accessory personally is jewelry, it is just who I am now.”
So yes accessories are super important when it comes to creating your own style.
I love how Tara mentioned that is what makes you different from other people who can be wearing that same thing. So take time to research what aesthetic you like and what little accessories you can implement to make your style yours!
Lastly before I send you all off into the wild I want to make sure you know what NOT to do. My last question was:
“ What are three don'ts for revamping or rebuilding your style?”
Tara gathered a great list of things to things to avoid when looking to revamp your closet:
1.Dont drop a bag!
It's not a sprint it's a marathon so don't go out and buy your closet in one go because the chances are you will get tired of those clothes faster than you think. a.
2 Don't build your style off of a trend
3. Don't put yourself in a box! Allow yourself to explore a plethora of options!

Have you ever looked in your closet full of clothes and still had no idea what to wear? And you thought “Well I just have nothing to wear” and end up buying more clothes? Well thats probably because you don't know how to style the items you already do have in your closet Its not that you don't have anything you just don't know how to best style the pieces together.
I want to start by saying clothes are made to fit you, you're not made to fit clothes.
So basically all I'm saying is there is nothing wrong with you there is just something wrong with how you are wearing certain clothes.

There are several base body types falls into Let us take a look at Tria wear something that flare out at th balance out the broader shoulder l Pear you want to want to do the op shoulder or something that has som For Rectangle you want to do a mi pear. THE BEST LOOKS ofthe Season
Stripped Boxer Shorts 1
I have seen this everywhere! people mostly style them with some sort of cute graphic baby tee. I feel as if we will continue to see these all throughout spring and summer!
Colorful Sambas 2
These are such a fun way to spice up any outfit. I can easily see these being the sneaker of the spring/summer. They are cute paired with some sorts and tee or even with a summery dress. They are very versatile!
13
4 Midi Skirts
Like I mentioned about the longer skirts, modest is back. Ive seen these style a lot with the colorful sambas like I had mentioned back at number 2. These skirts are cut4e, easy and fun to throw on for any warm spring day!
Modest Is Hottest 3
With these next two trends we are going to start to see the trend of “modest is Hottest”. Because the trend of fuller shorts with the Boyfriends cut has been back in since last summer. The comfort and ease that come with these fuller length shorts make them so lovable to the public.

Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter Show
LOUIS VUITTON FALL/WINTER
WHYAREFASHIONSHOWS IMPORTANTTOME
The Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter Event is an event that happens every year and signifies upcoming trends and things to look for in the upcoming seasons. Many designer brands will organize shows like this one Oftentimes due to people who are called trend predictors, most of these shows follow pretty similar trends These big brands do these shows to main showcast their upcoming seasonal collections or themes. These shows take so much time to organize and prepare Fashion shows like this one consist of many different components With things such as the clothes themselves, media, event planning and decorating.
I noticed a number of upcoming trends we should keep an eye out for this upcoming Fall-Winter season. Starting off with the mood, lighting and color scheme of the show. They stuck to a pretty neutral color palette; With the main colors being black, cream, Beige and white It's important to take note of things like this when watching a fashion show like this because it helps the people watching determine the aesthetic of the new collection. It helps you to fully understand the point and purpose behind the collection and not only the little trends that take place in the clothing.
