Do you feel it? The warmer weather creeping in We weren't meant to do life alone and their and the days steadily getting longer? Well I believe in evolution but I'm more of a fan of revolution. Life will cause you to evolve whether you like it or not. However, revolution is the hunger inside of you that makes you want to kick butt in life because you know you deserve it!

The difference is in the actions and the attitude!

So as the weather gets better here are the tips I suggest we use so we get better too!

1) Switch up your routine: The best way the start anew is to start new! Season changes are a great time to switch up a routine that has been wearing out its welcome! This may mean getting up early, incorporating a work out or cleaning up your diet.

2) Make it a goal to meet new people!

3) Get serious about the brand of "YOU": Are you where you want to be in your life as it stands right now? Are you on your way to accomplishing the goals you set for yourself? A season change is the perfect time to sit and reassess your goals and to make new ones!

4) Rejuvenate your soul! Grab a new book, listen to a new podcast, subscribe to things that will feed you and keep you motivated.

5) Switch up your style! Nothing can cure the stagnant blues like looking in the mirror at a new du or outfit. Play dress up or dress down depending on your current style to decide who you want to be this season. No matter what have fun with it!

has a reputation for putting on a very intimate and personable show during New York Fashion Week & this season he outdid himself; Modern dance, a George Michael tribute, a model fairy, and as always beautiful fashions all took center stage at Dan Liu’s Fall/Winter 2017 runway show. Lui , dubbed the ‘King of the Cocktail’ dress, presented a fall collection complete with tweed coats, knit dresses and vibrant silk scarves teeming with wearable pieces.

When you're not designing or anything to do with your brand what do you enjoy doing? Like your hobbies.

Exploring the world as much as possible via new food recipes, art, music and travel (when possible) is a really great way to gain new inspiration for my textiles and designs. I also like to sing!

What was the name of the collection presented by Ms.Jaxn at Fashion Gallery: NYFW Spring 2017? Art- in-Fashion.

Give me a brief overview of your brand?

I created Ms.Jaxn to give women fun and beautiful designs from custom and standard textiles. The mission behind Ms.jaxn is to make my customer feel special…women should be excited to get dressed every day!

What inspired you to become a designer?

Funny you should ask…I originally was going to be a singer, (both of my parents were musicians). However, I suffer from extreme stage fright! My father also drew and painted, and that’s where my fashion interest stemmed from; I love color and art, and I always wanted to incorporate that into fashion .

How long have you been designing?

Since high school. I used to sell designs for Prom to my fellow students, who would then have them made (I didn’t have time to sew all those dresses and gowns!).

Claudette and Jhirber, planned the most gorgeous and authentic destination wedding. Located in the beautiful country of Dominican Republic, these two shared their personal vows of 20 years.

A relationship involves two or more people. We often refer to a relationship as give and take, easy as it might sound, it's also difficult to debate on this statement. There need would be met for as long as they are getting together.

Even though they still look the same, the other might still wonder if they are not in a relationship with someone else.

Out of Balance As a result of what they are seeing and noticing, they might want to ensure the change doesn't take place, allowing the relationship to go back just the same way it has been from the onset. This might cause the other to make amends in their attitude in just a very short time, which might not last for a long time.

Ensuring the other did not alter their behavior, it is expected for the other to stand by the other.

Positive Reinforcement The person won't know there is a change in their behavior if the other doesn't let them know. The less effort they put in been together, one tend to put even more.

When one don't longer invest more in the relationship, the other feels less accepted and is drawn off, and there won't be any reason for them to change their behavior.

Opening Up They both need to say how they sees things, giving each other the opportunity to share and discuss what is on running through their minds, because there might be reasons for any reoccurring patterns and behavior.

On the other hand, for example, they could lay blame on each other for change in behavior. This clearly shows that they changed without them noticing it.

Awareness They are doubtful to get that far when the other is not ready to admit or come to agreement of the change taking place regardless. One could take time to have a serious thought on what is taking place and make up his mind to take decision on what to do afterwards. Having notice all this, it will be very good for them to ensure they agree to stay with each other.

A decision taken earlier will makes their life better when they move sooner from the other.

TIME TO DREAM AGAIN

Spring is about renewal, reflect, resurrection, revive and growth.

Think of the winter months the cold, dreariness of winter, under all the cold, all the trees and flowers look bare, and everything appear to be dead. When spring comes we see what looks like it was dead now begin to have life, trees begins to buds, flowers begin to blossom, grass begin to turn green.

Look all around plants are coming to life again and everything that looked brown is turning green.

Maybe there are some dreams and goals in life we had let die or lie dormant.

It is time to revisit those areas in life that were left dormant and give life to those dreams and goals.

Maya Angelou said, No man can know where He is going unless he knows exactly how he arrived at this present place.

We know the seasons, but where we are now in life many people does not know how he/she arrived at this present place.

It is time to reflect on some choices and decision we have made that have us in the place we are in now. If we want to know where we are going; we must know where we been.

The winter is past the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, (Song of Solomon 2:11-12) Eliminate distractions, behaviors and thoughts that had cause one not to work on oneself, or dreams or goals.

The most beautiful garden require pruning, so do our life.

We have to get rid of or throw away some things that are hindering us for being the people God created to be. We need to release the old to embrace the new.

Spring time is all about renewing, rejuvenate; Time to Renew our commitment, rejuvenate our passion for the things we want to do. It is time to dream again.

Spring is a perfect metaphor for the gospel. It is God’s nature to make something new.

Out of chaos He is able to restore and bring peace. The earth is full of His glory. Out of chaos He created the Universe.

Who would have thought, through death would come life.

Accept a seed go into the ground and die it cannot bring forth a harvest. Jesus gave His life that we may have life and have that life more abundantly. He is the very seed of God, buried and rose from the grave so that God will have a harvest in the earth. This season is a strong reminder of what God has provided for us “Life everlasting”.

God want to show us great and mighty things, but we must allow Him access in our life.

Let us examine our life and see what we need to put away, eliminate, that we may organize our life.

Many times we miss opportunities because of the clutter that is in our mind and our life.

We need to ask God to help us see areas that need to be cleaned up, Rearrange our life so we can dream again. Clear out our own agenda and invite God to show us His dreams for our life. Yes, It is time to dream again.

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Julionne graduated from Berean Baptist Academy, attended Fayetteville Technical Community College majored in Theater, and currently studying at The Art Institute of Charlotte expected to graduate in 2018. It was in the local arts community that Julionne begin modeling, and acting with her first booking of SAG film starring Owen Wilson and Zach Galifianakis, called "You Are Here", and booked several independent films, television as a background actor, and a principal lead in a commercial including voice over.

Julionne had the opportunity to audition for New York Conservatory Dramatic Arts and was accepted in the Fall 2013 but could not attend due to financial. Julionne made her writing and director debut with the dinner theater play “Paradox of Tales” in 2013 and led to the sequel Paradox of Tales 2: The Royal Wedding in 2014 at the Crown Complex with the production approved for IMDb Credit. Julionne is a recyclable designer and the owner/designer

of Recyclable Integrated Possibilities (RIP) Designs. As a designer, Julionne have had the opportunity to showcase her recyclable designs/collections at numerous fashion show include two appearances at Charlotte Fashion Week, alumni of RAW Natural Born Artists of Raleigh, Renaldo’s Styleweek, and FTM Fashion Week. Julionne co-established Porodax Praductions and under the production two dinner theater play but has expand in creating “FashionCon Runway Show” which is an evening of fashion and live performances including local artist in the community and surrounding areas. Even at a young age, Julionne has already created a platform not only for herself but for other local artist to have a venue to showcase their talent and skills through her artistry.

Julionne’s passion, drive, boundless energy and indomitable spirit overcame seemingly insurmountable obstacles of being born with TAR Syndrome which is a physical abnormalities and cognitive disability but continue to shine as rising artist.

Tell us how you got your start as a fashion designer?

I had my first sewing lesson in the 10th grade for my Home Economics class. We practiced making pillows, pajamas and other simple items. After that class I really wanted to do more with the sewing machine so for Christmas my grandmother purchased a sewing machine for me. I began attempting to make different skirts, dresses, tops and every time it never came out right. My sister one day was making this really cool origami design out of paper that I thought was so cool. I asked her to show me how to do it and I picked it up quite easily. Then I began to wonder if it was possible to do this technique not only with other items, but also into full outfits. It was not long after that I made my first newspaper skirt and then RIP Designs was created.

What is your motivation? What inspired the name?

I think what keeps me going is the fact that I am always thinking. Creativity has its pro’s and con’s in a way that even when I am not trying to think about a concept; I am still thinking of one. There is no break at all. However, the pro’s is that part of your brain, that creative side is always going and getting used. As far as the name I still remember when I told my parents what I wanted to do and they jumped right on board with it. The name was definitely a collaborate effort. I knew I wanted to incorporate the word recyclable in the name somehow.

Then with my design company, anyone who has ever seen, modeled or purchased an outfit from me knows that the possibilities are endless. There are so many things I have done and can still do.

Then of course you have these many materials that I integrate into the outfit that brings everything together. That is how you get RECYCLED INTEGRATED POSSIBILITIES (RIP Designs).

Have you found success with your style of fashion?

Yes, success I have been fortunate enough to have that in my style of fashion. It is funny because what my dad told me when I first started out is what is happening now. When I started out everyone was wanting it. From the newspaper skirts, plastic skirts and tops. It was a lot easier then; now I must be a lot more innovative with how I use the materials simply because people want to see what else I can do what is going to be next. So, it definitely challenges me to think more outside of the box than I already am, but the results once I do lead to a higher rate of success in the end.

What advice would you give an aspiring fashion designer?

The best advice I can give is to be creative with your work and that is so hard because there are so many talented designers out there already. What you have to do is use that as an inspiration and not a discouragement. My idol when it comes to the world of fashion is Alexander McQueen.

His designs are in your face and extremely detailed that either you like it or you do not. I feel that is something I am starting to adapt when it comes to my own designs; either you like it or you do not, but at least the audience feels something.

What are your future plans for R.I.P Designs?

So this is great because it is the beginning of the New Year and I actually have not told a lot of people what my plans are for RIP Designs yet. So I am currently attending the Art Institute of Charlotte for fashion design, which most people know. What everyone does not know I plan to make RIP Design into a high end haute couture company. So basically almost all my designs will be done by hand with extreme detail in each outfit. I will also be selecting a few models that will model any upcoming new designs we have for fashion shows or promoting the company. I am definitely excited about this year.

How would you rate your success?

I rate my success by the goals that I set and what I have achieved.

The success rate is to look back and see each year where I started from to where I am.Â

I always want to top each year with new skill sets, networking, and having my work recognized by others in the industry. Only being in the fashion industry for 3 years and not having a background in fashion, I have accomplished a lot, but still have a lot more to learn. I have been blessed to have my family there to help along the way with whatever the projects were and had the privilege of being part of numerous fashion shows, media outlets, local radio shows and being published in magazines.

I also have clients all over the east coast and just recently the UK as well now. I am looking forward to what the future holds.

How many shows have you done?

Okay, so I believe the count is at 20 right now. It has been an adventure with each one and to meet the amazing models, hair and makeup teams, photographers, VIPs and everyone that is involved. My favorite part is when someone does not know the outfit is recyclable and then they find me later and just go wow. After each one is over it is such a great sigh of relief, but I am always ready to do the next one.

Do you see yourself one day doing retail?

This is a possibility, I do want to have a boutique one day where clients can come in order a certain outfit. However shipping my designs to be sold at other locations, probably not just because of care and how the items have to be handled I am so particular about that.

Senior Editor, Domea Gisel distinguishes Francesca Liberatore’s Collection as “The memorable, YET expect the unexpected unique collection of New York Fashion Week“. Her fresh take with the "Freedom" collection is definitely a TRENDSETTER and not a follower!

My three words to describe the Libertore Woman: FABULOUS, CONFIDENT, and UNIQUELY STYLED. I absolutely adored the hand drawn detail designs on several of the garments Francesca created. The anticipation of viewing this collection had everyone during NYFW waiting on the edge of their seats to see what was next.

Liberatore explores the powerful and popular, the effect their words and actions have on society and the role that society plays in shaping or destroying them. The duality intertwines to form a magnifying glass from which we are asked to view the current state of affairs.

WHAT MADE YOU TAKE FASHION MORE SERIOUSLY AND MAKE A CAREER OUT OF IT? I always knew growing up that I wanted to dress and inspire women. It all started with a little bit of genes and a whole lot of passion.

But if it weren’t for the combination of endless inspiration and undying persistence, my dream of growing up to be a designer would have never became a reality.
