On behalf of the group, we hope that the poems and photographs—inspired by actual accounts of alter users—shed light on the issues of Filipino LGBTQ+ youth on digital spaces and safety, identity formation, and media representation. This Closet is Too Small For Us is for the kids who wish they stayed on their knees, those who wish they didn’t dance with the devil at 15, those who live with the guilt of feeling heaven amid the pain, those who wish they were left wondering, and those who demand their childhoods back. —AJ
