Daily fantasy contests will appeal to a very wide range of participants from fantasy experts and newbies to the gambling type who enjoy hitting the sports books in Vegas. "We even have a decent number of poker players on the site", said one fantasy sports site owner, "I think they find our contest lobby to be very similar to what they see on many of the on-line poker sites." With 30 million people in the US participating in some form of fantasy sports combined with the "microwave", "I-want-it-now" lifestyle that we've all grown to love, there's little doubt that the daily fantasy marketplace will be thriving sooner rather than later. Most traditional fantasy participants don't know that daily fantasy contests even exist. But from what we've seen from the contestants that have found us so far, once they discover it, they really like it. So what are some strategies to use in fantasy betting in football that will help us win more? The only sure thing in fantasy football is that there are no sure things. I've been competing for years and have yet to revel in the glory of holding up that golden, championship fantasy trophy over my head despite the fact that every year I sit back in my chair following my draft, scan my roster, and think, "This is my year. This roster is a sure thing." But it turns out not. I think my biggest mistake is that after drafting, I already calm myself and think that my team is the best. Fantasy team owners should bear in mind that the real fight is when the game start. They should trade players once in a while, watch out and predict players who will be injured and keep an eye on new rising players. I'm preparing myself and everyone for their drafts this year by teaching from my past mistakes and realizing there is no such thing as a "sure thing" in drafting. So they should continue tweaking their fantasy team from time to time. In fact, maybe I'll change things up

this year and draft a wide receiver in the first round. That's not a half bad idea! I bet Randy Moss is a "sure thing"
