Fantasy NHL Players to Draft This Season
Fantasy NHL season is coming in quickly but do you already know which players you should watch for when it comes to drafting? Always remember that your decisions will always make a lasting impression throughout the season. It’s crucial to snatch up any players that could end up being fantasy gold.
Whether it’s a veteran blue-liner or young forward, anyone could be a diamond in the rough. Because of their hot starts, here are the players that you should consider including in your team.
Sami Salo Stats: 3 goals, 4 assists, 7 points in 9 games
He is the one who average about 20 minutes per game for the No. 1 power play unit in Vancouver. Despite the usual injury concerns that have hovered around him during his career, he's proven to be a valuable asset when healthy.
He is definitely one player worth to be in your team if you want a powerful team to begin with. He should be setting a new career highs this year and all he has to do is break the 37 point mark, which won’t be any difficult if he can stay healthy or at least play 70 games.
Kris Versteeg Stats: 4 goals, 5 assists, 9 points in 8 games
One great asset is this player who packs up one offensive play. He is one of the few exceptions in the Florida Panthers for my Fantasy team, the rest I would not dare trust.
Nikolai Khabibulin Stats: 963 SV percentage, 0.97 GAA; 3 wins in 5 games
Despite the injury concerns, having him on your fantasy nhl team can do a lot of help. He is worth the pick up and every player of this game knows that.
Ryan Mcdonagh Stats: 2 goals, 2 assists, 4 points in 8 games
He was given one great opportunity when March Staal disappeared in the picture. He has played ton of minutes (25 games exactly) as well. He has played on the top pairing so far this season alongside Dan Girardi and has not looked out of place in his first “full” NHL season .
Alex Burmistrov Stats: 2 goals, 5 assists, 7 points in 8 games
Although there’s not much hype going on about him he is still one great player to include in your team. Don’t be confused with the none-existent hype, he’s a keeper.
We hope that your drafting will be great after this and you’ll get to take them in your team in order to win.
