I led the design ofthe design of this new construction project, combining warehouse and office spaces to be rented by square footage. Utilizing a 20 x 20 grid, I introduced a modular approach to the office areas, optimizing design flexibility and space utilization. This grid system facilitated the strategic placement of cores, enhancing the building’s functionality. I selected materials that echo the industrial character of the surrounding area and introduced glazing in common areas to blend functionality with modern aesthetics. The design features an extending central core, topped by a rooftop observation deck with a 360-degree view, seamlessly merging industrial utility with contemporary design elements.
In a project focused on converting an existing office/shop space into a multifamily residential complex, I served as a lead designer. My role involved leveraging both AutoCAD for detailed architectural plans and Revit for 3D renderings, establishing an efficient workflow that maximized both efficincyand visual impact. Guided by the principal architect and aligned with client preferences, I developed a design that enhances functionality and aesthetic appeal. The architecture harmoniously blends with the urban context and adheres to zoning laws, enriching the neighborhood’s character.
The objective of this project is to enhance the exterior appearance of the current building occupied by T-Mobile and incorporate windows to convert the data space into offices available for lease by tenants. My primary responsibilities included assessing existing conditions, adjusting plans accordingly, generating elevations, drawing details and wall sections, and developing a Sketch Up model along with renderings for client presentation.
The project involved the development of a facade that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding environment. My responsibilities focused on refining elevations and plans using AutoCAD, and making design decisions based on client feedback regarding entrances, windows, and room layouts.
The objective of this project is to renovate a high school catering to students with special needs. The aim is to refurbish the school and establish two separate floors, each accommodating distinct programs tailored to specific needs. My responsibilities included going over and modifying plans, creating new ceiling plans, confirming the status of existing mill work, doors and hardware. I was also tasked with crafting materials and door schedules and making sure the CD sets is up to the permit standards.
This project’s goal is to redesign the offices in the ARC wing. As the office transitioned from AutoCAD to Revit, I was in charge of building the model in Revit. I was also designing presentation slides and picking furniture finishes.
In-House Design & Construction
The goal of this project is to redesign the public spaces on the second floor of Stearns Center. I was part of the project from beginning to end as I started with putting the existing furniture schedule, existing conditions analysis, and drawing as is. I also contributed to the design of the lights and picking and putting together the plans and CD sets.
The objective of the project was to develop a modular attachment designed for towing behind a bicycle. These modules would be capable of transporting various items in partnership with other non-profit organizations in Roxbury to facilitate the delivery of goods and organize events, such as providing food delivery services sourced from local farms or bike shops. The capacity of these modules would be adaptable and adjustable according to specific requirements and program demands. This initiative was entered into a request for proposal (RFP) competition, in which we secured second place.
The goal of this project was to collaborate with a diverse team of young designers specializing in architecture, interior design, and graphic design to collectively generate a pavilion design that reflects the idea of a glitch, with the prize of the competition is that the designs chosen would be actually built and exhibited in the biggest mall in Kuwait.
