The festival will be open from 10am to 6pm each day and is free to enter. 8 September Geology of Folkestone Warren Walk (Green Gang) The Pavillion, Folkestone CT19 6BL Meeting at 1pm outside the Pavillion restaurant, this short walk will provide an introduction to the geology and fossils that can be found in the area, and explain why the landscape in this region looks the way it does. Suggested £2 donation. 8 September Solley’s Sundae Solley’s Ice Cream Parlour, Ripple CT14 8JL This will be the first farm festival held at Solley’s Ice Cream Parlour. There will be music from local bands and musicians, face painting, a local food and drink market, activities for the kids, tractor rides, farm trail and of course as much Solley’s Ice Cream as you can eat! 6 September Deal Food and Drink Festival Deal Castle, Deal CT14 7BA The grounds of Deal Castle, with history dating back to Tudor times, provides an ideal setting to eat, drink and relax at this annual food festival.
