Little Days Out Spend a morning playing, creating and discovering with your child at Little Days Out, South Bank’s free children’s program. Held amid the shady trees of the South Bank Parklands, Little Days Out is a series of free children’s workshops designed to suit all interests and skill levels. It’s on every Thursday from 9am-1pm. Peter and the Wolf Join a crazy menagerie in this special Family concert and share the joy of the much-loved tale of Peter and the Wolf with family and friends. Narrated live by actor Jason Klarwein, the light-hearted symphony is the perfect introduction to classical music and follows Peter and his furry and feathered friends as they outwit a fierce wolf. 2 shows – 10 & 11.30am. Sun 4 Jun. Luminous Lantern Parade The parade features colourful lanterns of all sizes held by representatives from government, council, business and community groups and the broader Brisbane community celebrating this state’s great cultural diversity. The parade is followed by cultural performances and activities in the Cultural Forecourt with range of food and beverage stalls with delicacies from around the world. Fri 9 Jun 6 – 9pm. Snow4Kids Snow4Kids has been delivering amazing real snow entertainment to the children of Brisbane since 2013. The technology has been in development for more than 30 years, specialising in real snow environments in temperatures above freezing. Now in the fifth year, they are back for even more frosty fun!

Regional Flavours Regional Flavours is Brisbane’s free food and wine festival. The event is a smorgasbord of delicious food, scrumptious wine and incredible entertainment designed to suit all ages – it features free entertainment from celebrity chefs and industry experts, a fresh produce market, live music, cooking masterclasses, kid’s activities and much more.
