Throughout the Scriptures, God’s presence and power is associated with light. God is Light

1 John 1:5-9 “God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all.”

God’s Breath /Spirit of God (Holy Spirit) gives life/animates through The Word (Jesus) (The Trinity)

John 1:1-3 (NASB) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. Job 33:4 “…the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” John 20:22 Jesus "breathed on them and said to them, 'Receive the Holy Spirit'" to His disciples

Light reflects God’s Glory/His Face The light we see at conception reflects our creation in his image. We are made from His light. The flash of light is God’s signature.

Genesis 1: 3-5 “Let there be light, and there was light…” Rev 21: 23 “And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.”

“Human life begins in bright flash of light as a sperm meets an egg, scientists have shown for the first time, after capturing the astonishing ‘fireworks’ on film. An explosion of tiny sparks erupts from the egg at the exact moment of conception.” It is after this spark of light that the cell begins to divide (to be in motion). Northwestern University Hebrew word for breath is Ruach which means wind or spirit. Spirit refers to animation/life/motion. So, with God’s breath brings life/motion and when this happens, his Light is a signature of his presence.

God → God breathes/speaks (Spirit + Word) → Creates Light → Creates Life
