Michelle MCKEEVER | PRODUCTION DIRECTOR
I am overjoyed to extend a heartfelt welcome to our production of Peter Pan Junior! As one of the directors of this enchanting journey, I feel an immense privilege witnessing the dedication and talent of every single student involved. From singing and dancing to acting, they have poured their hearts into the rehearsal process, and their hard work is truly commendable.
At our school, we hold a firm belief in providing each student, regardless of age or ability, with the opportunity to experience the pure joy of theater. This is why we've proudly adopted an inclusive approach, featuring two casts spanning across primary and secondary levels. This not only allows every student to shine in their unique way but also cultivates a deep love for the arts within our school community.
Childhood is a magical time, filled with wonder and imagination. In selecting Peter Pan, we aim to bring that magic to life on our stage. Here at Fairgreen, we recognize the importance of preparing our students for adulthood while ensuring they have plenty of fun and adventures along the way. It's a balance we strive for every day, and we are excited to showcase the result of our collective efforts in this heartwarming production.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the parents who have contributed to the success of this production. Your dedication in creating costumes and supporting our students as they rehearse songs and lines at home has not gone unnoticed. Your involvement and commitment make a significant impact on the overall experience, and we are grateful for your
partnership in making this production truly magical.
Students have gained incredible experiences over the past months building on confidence, acting skills and brushing up on their vocals. We also had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with iRIG, a local company based here in Dubai. Ryan, the founder of iRIG, and Chris, his technician, pulled out all the stops for us in making the magic of flying happen. Our students had the unique opportunity to visit their center, where they practiced alongside these professionals. We cannot thank IRIG enough for their generosity and expertise, which have truly elevated the production.
Over the past few months, our students, alongside our wonderful team of teachers , have dedicated themselves to weekly rehearsals, infusing life into the enchanting world of Peter Pan. Their professionalism and drive are truly commendable, and we couldn't be prouder of the hard work they've put into making this show a memorable experience for all.
In addition to our talented cast and the support of our parents, we express our gratitude to the artistic students who have worked tirelessly to craft stunning props and set pieces, transporting you to the whimsical world of Neverland. Their creativity and attention to detail have elevated the production, and we can't wait for you to witness their amazing work.
Let us collectively embark on a magical journey together!

intricate choreography, perfecting character nuances, or crafting elaborate sets, their dedication has been commendable. I would also like to thank all the parents for your unwavering support with our young actors. A show like Peter Pan would not be achievable without your help. Thanks also to Michelle for everything, Kristel for the amazing dance routines and Kateryna for working so hard with the singing.
As we take our final bow, the memories of this incredible journey will linger, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts and the catchy songs in my head! The Peter Pan production has not only been a showcase of talent but a celebration of the enduring magic that live theater can weave. Abby Brewer | Cast Two co-director
What a wonderful journey it has been to work with the Cast 2 students on this year’s production of Peter Pan! There is, perhaps, no truer way to be a ‘risk-taker’ than auditioning for a role in a school production; certainly everyone who has been involved in this production should be commended for their dedication and hard work.
It has been truly a joy to watch as our student performers lost their fears and gained confidence with their characters, developing such a keen understanding of who exactly they are meant to be onstage.
My personal favorite moments throughout this process have been when I can’t help but laugh out loud at hilarious new additions to line delivery or blocking that the
performers have added in as a result of their understanding of the character they are portraying. I hope the audience finds these moments of hilarity and shows their appreciation with hearty laughs!
These student performers have taken on the challenges of learning lines, practicing blocking, understanding their characters, and rehearsing over and over again with confidence, courage, and a willingness to learn. It will be so exciting to see all of this hard work pay off as they finally take to the stage!
Audience, enjoy the show; Cast, break a leg!
