Valerie Coleman Nonprofit Fellowship Fund

This fund was established in June of 2024 in honor of Valerie Anne Coleman to fund a nonprofit’s partnership program that provides one-on-one tailored support from 8months to a year and results in significant growth for the nonprofit in terms of potentially new services offered, more people served and increased revenue.

OurLegacyof Impact

In2013,whenGenerationHopebecamea FairChancepartner,wheretheywere workingwithonly7teenparents.In2022, theyprovided142parentscholarswithwrap aroundsupportwhileincollegeand celebrated33graduates.

In2023,theyprovided200parentscholars inDCandNewOrleanswithwrap-around supportwhileincollege.Todate,theyhave celebratednearly200collegedegreesand workedwith21highereducationinstitutions acrossthecountrytodevelopsupport programshelpingover100,000teenparents succeedincollege.

BecauseofFairChance’sprovenimpactin helpingtoscaleorganizationslike GenerationHope,wehopetodoublethe numberofnonprofitsbenefittingfromour servicesinthenextfewyears.
