Exhibits will take place in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. The Education Conference sessions and Networking Events on Saturday will be held at the Hyatt Hotel. A dealer satellite registration desk will be open on Friday afternoon and on Saturday for badge pickup. The Kay Bailey Hutchison Dallas Convention Center is located at 650 S. Griffin Street, Dallas, TX 75202.

Ed Expo exhibits are in Hall F; CAMEX exhibits are in Halls A-E.

Attire For your comfort, all events at the Ed Expo are “Business Casual” attire. Come relaxed and comfortable — so you can concentrate on business. Please note: the Education Market Association reserves the right to remove persons who are dressed such that they are a distraction to the general business climate of the show.

Badges To gain entrance to the Ed Expo and CAMEX exhibit halls, you are required to use the badge and badge holder provided at registration.

Badges must be worn at all times for show events. Any alterations to the badges are strictly prohibited. If your badge is incorrect, please bring it to the Ed Expo Registration Desk to be issued a new one. Companies engaging in this unauthorized practice are liable for the registration fees of persons admitted, confiscation of badges, and loss of the company’s priority points. Dealers and other show attendees are not permitted to wear badges issued by exhibitors.

Discount Coupons for Lunch Each dealer will receive $5 discount coupons for lunch on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. These coupons will be given to you with your badge at the Ed Expo Registration Desk. The coupons are

Exhibit Display Awards Judged by the Retail Store Council, exhibit excellence is honored in the following categories: • Best New Exhibitor • Outstanding Exhibit (Single Booth) • Outstanding Exhibit (Multiple Booths) A panel of dealer members who serve on the Retail Store Council evaluates exhibits during the first day of the show on such qualities as design, innovation, and helpfulness of the staff. Awards will be presented at the Annual Meeting/Evening with the Stars event on Sunday evening.

Parking The entrance to the parking garage is accessed at Griffin Street & Memorial Street. Parking is $12 per entry, no in and out. Parking Lot C, located on Ceremonial Street & Lamar Street is directly in front of the Convention Center’s C building and across from the Omni Hotel. Parking is $12 per entry, no in and out. Show Policies Children’s Admittance Policy For the safety of young children and for the business needs and comfort of exhibitors and attendees:

• Any person aged 13 years and older must be registered for the show at the applicable cost.

• Children between the ages of 13 and 16 may attend all show events under strict parental oversight at all times.

• Children under the age of 13 are not allowed to attend workshops, but may visit the exhibit hall during exhibit hours only, with strict parental oversight. They must stay with a parent at all times.

• All parents bringing children under the age of 13 must sign a waiver before entering the hall with them.

• For safety reasons, no person under the age of 16 is allowed in the exhibit hall during setup or teardown.

• Per Show Management discretion, children may be asked to leave the exhibit hall or any show event at any time for any reason.

Please note: CAMEX does not allow anyone under the age of 18 to visit their exhibits.

The more orders written, the more chances you have to win! Stay until Tuesday, and for each order you place, you’ll be entered into a drawing for fabulous DOOR prizes!

Each prize package of bestselling product from exhibitors is valued at hundreds of dollars, and there is no limit to the number of packages your store can win.

Here’s how to win one of the fabulous prize packages: • Fill in your company name on each of the tickets you plan to enter in the drawing.

• For each order, have the exhibitor complete their company name and sign the ticket. Then just deposit your tickets in the EDmarket Café to be entered.

• It is the dealer’s responsibility to deposit tickets in the raffle drum located in the EDmarket Cafe prior to 11:00 AM on Tuesday when the first drawing will take place. (You can continue to deposit your tickets up until 1:00 PM if you are still writing orders.)

• You will have one hour to claim your prize. Unclaimed prizes will be raffled off during the next hourly drawing.

• Someone from your company must be present to win.

Teacher Trendsetters Be on the lookout for our Teacher Trendsetters on the exhibit floor on Sunday, March 9. The teachers will set out in teams to scour the hall for items that catch their eye, grab their interest, and make them stop to learn more. (No direct sales efforts are permitted to these show guests.) A list of the top products will be available at the Ed Expo Registration Desk and EDmarket Café on Monday morning by 10:00 AM. Find out what the product trends and hot products are in the eyes of the teachers for the coming school year so you can stock up on these hot items for back to school.

Mystery Shopper Program Dealers participating in the Mystery Shopper program can pick up their booth visit assignments and survey packet at the EDmarket Café any time during show hours, and then return their completed packet to the EDmarket Café by 3:00 PM on Tuesday to receive their $100 gift card.

The New Product Showcase Find new products, conduct research and plan your time in the exhibit hall by visiting the New Product Showcase! All products in the Showcase have been introduced since the previous Ed Expo, and will also be displayed in exhibitors’ booths.

So that you are not interrupted, no sales presentations are allowed in this area.

Vote for Educational Dealer’s Eddy Awards!

Upon entering the showcase, you will receive a keychain-sized scanning device so you can collect information about the products that interest you. Scan the products, and then print out your custom list at a download station nearby. It will include contact information, booth number and product description.

Each scan is a vote for an Eddy Award!

The three products with the most votes win. So you’ll know immediately what products are favorites, a Leader Board will tally and display the votes in real time. The product that receives the most scans will be featured on the cover of the April Issue of Educational Dealer magazine, sponsor of the Showcase.
