Ahmad Shahzad won the on-spot speed programming competition at NUST Olympaid 2009. June 3, 2009 – Computer Society of Punjab University College of Information Technology arranged the 7th In House Quiz Competition at Seminar Hall. There were total 51 teams (3 members each) in the qualifying round out of which 24 teams had to be selected. The qualifying round was consist of written quiz. There were total 10 questions for each team. There was negative marking for wrong answers. The team ‘Code Bugs’ scored highest in the qualifying round. BSEF07 Afternoon class participated with 7 teams out of which 5 teams qualified in the qualifying round. There was were 4 pools of 6 teams in each pool, in the next round. Each team was asked three questions, two from the selected subjects and one random question. Out of these 24 teams, 12 teams were selected on the basis of their commulative score. The subjects in this quiz were: Operating System Computer Architecture Data Structures & Algorithms Object-Oriented Programming Java C / C++ SQL Computer Organization & Assembly Programming Structured Programming Internet Programming Database System Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Computer Theory Computer Networks Communication Skills
