Call for Vice Presidents and Editor(s) 1st International Forum of EYP Luxembourg

Head Organiser's Vision As Head-Organisers of the first International Forum of EYP Luxembourg, we know that we are undertaking an ambitious and challenging project that will require hard work and dedication for over a year.

When we started to contemplate the idea of organising a session together we agreed that we wanted to challenge ourselves and work on something big.

Our common interest in this session was to motivate people the same way we were motivated by EYP. It wasn’t only about giving people the same opportunity EYP had given us, and thereby give back to the organisation in a way that was worthwhile, it was about spreading and inciting people to engage in what may seem as daunting projects and pulling through with them. We wanted to incorporate our motivation in to our vision and came to work together to stay together, towards a common goal.

With this, we want to stress the importance of a cooperation amongst people in order to make big things happen and to catalyse change.Our vision should, of course, embody the values of theEuropeanUnion.

But, focusing on the participants of the session, we hope to incite in them a similar feeling to what has encouraged us to start working on this IF. Participants should approach the project with a will to work united and together, equally, to create a strong impact, inEYP and beyond.

President's Vision Luxembourg 2018 is going to be a session built by the participants for the participants. Each participant will be a piece of a puzzle, unique in his or her own right, and all together we will make up the beautiful picture that will be Luxembourg 2018. We aim to ensure that this international forum becomes the dream session of the people involved in .it and who are willing to put in the work and commitment to see their dream come alive. We will have almost half a year working together, it’s a rather significant chunk of time, significant enough to allow us to sculpt our dream.

Let’s also not forget that this is a summer international forum, that will naturally bring along easy-going, stress-free, warm surrounding, and we will cultivate this even further to allow the participants to work and simply live the session in a motivating and stimulating environment.

And what we would like to be achieved the most at this forum is a feeling of a community, of belonging, so that all participants feel like a part of something common, something they created all together, something that they will look back to with fondness.

Questions for all applicants 1) Summer 2018 is full of interesting sessions throughout the EYP network, what is it about Luxembourg 2018 that attracted you to apply and what can you contribute to the forum to make it unique?

2) How would the person that knows you best describe you to us?

Questions for Vice President applicants 1) Considering that the Chairs team will be comprised of 14 Chairpersons, how do you think it would be best to structure your work as a Vice-President to ensure all Chairs are attended according to their needs?

2) How do you envision your role alongside the rest of the board and on which area(s) would you lay special focus on?

Questions for Editor applicants 1) Please present your vision and aims for the Media team of Luxembourg 2018, in any form of media you see fit. Be sure to include ideas on media output, team structure, and interaction with the rest of the Officials team.

2) Please provide us with some examples of media content of your creation, EYP or non-EYP, that you’re most proud of, and tell us why.
