Businesses and tourist attractions in Donegal are benefiting from a marked increase in the number of tourists visiting the town this summer. The Wild Atlantic Way is a big factor in the upturn in people visiting the town with a lot of visitors travelling the route of the itinerary and Donegal is very well positioned to benefit from this. The Eye on Donegal contacted some of the local business - Ann Meehan of Riverside Bed and Breakfast American said she was having a very tourists arrive in Donegal Town good season and gets a lot of her guests through booking. com. “A lot of our guests are German, and also holiday makers from down south are traveling the Wild Atlantic Way”, Ann commented.
