Foodland Cash and Carry was a large part of the wholesale landscape for many years supplying many shops and other businesses in the south of the county. It was owned and run by the O’Rourke family who also ran the successful and innovative Foodland Supermarket on the Diamond in Donegal Town for many years. In its time Foodland led the way with many retailing innovations later seen in national chains.
