Alan James McLeod 'Are there any truly unspoiled exotic locations left to discover? That is the question he poses as part of his inspiration for new work. Here in Childwickbury was a body of intriguing abstracts with layers of interest to captivate the viewer. Perhaps his work in textiles explains the subtle synergy he creates between decorative elements and textured surfaces to imbue each work with mystery and meaning using gouache, gold paint and gold-leaf.' Based in West Sussex Contact Alan: 07717 716707 Facebook/Twitter/Instagram alanjamesmcleod@btinternet.com Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary A family run Charity that looks after British wild hedgehogs. Her own work often focuses on the interactions of natures elements, on her emotional and physical connections with the county of Cornwall. Her free use of oils, acrylics and other mixed media gives her work a textured layered appearance in order to create depth and a sense of space. This all contributes to a very unique and compelling style of painting. Based in Harpenden
