Exupery International School is an international K-12 day and boarding school, providing education for children starting from 1.5 years of age.
EIS is fully authorized to offer the Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), IGCSE, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP). Our state-of-the-art, purposebuilt campus, which includes both school and boarding facilities, is located in a green suburb, just 20 minutes from Riga’s city center, 15 minutes from Jurmala’s beaches, and 15 minutes from the airport.
Rigorous academic programs, a supportive environment, and an individualized approach help build a solid academic foundation for further studies and careers.
Now in its 8th year of operation, the school maintains a perfect IB DP score of 45 in its very first graduating class of 2023.
Our graduates score above the world average in IB DP exams, with a perfect IB DP score achieved in 2023.
We rank 5th in an independent rating of schools in Latvia, thanks to our students’ excellent results in national and international Olympiads.
We host the World Scholar’s Cup, hold annual EIS Student Research Conferences, and participate in Model United Nations (MUN) events.
We offer scholarships for academic merit and excellence in other fields. Ten scholarship students are already enjoying their experience and thriving at our school.
Our High School curriculum follows the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP). To prepare students for the demands of this rigorous international program, we offer boarding starting from Grade 9, for students as young as 14 years old.
The IB DP was established to provide students with a balanced education, foster geographic and cultural mobility, and promote international-mindedness.
To prepare students for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, our Grade 10 curriculum serves as a foundation for the IB DP, which is offered in Grades 11 and 12.
The IB DP is renowned for its academically rigorous exams and its focus on student action, research, and skill development.

The school year at EIS begins in August and runs until June, with four breaks throughout the year.

The University Guidance Team supports students in navigating their path to a sustainable career by guiding them through university options and assisting with the application process to universities worldwide.

The IB DP is internationally recognized for direct admissions by an increasing number of universities worldwide.
A thoughtful balance of rules, freedom of choice, and household responsibilities creates a family-style atmosphere that helps boarders settle in quickly and become part of a warm, friendly community.
The boarding facility, attached to the high school building, accommodates up to 90 students aged 14 to 19. It offers comfortable rooms for 2 or 3 students, each with a private bathroom.
Shared lounge areas and kitchens are available for cooking, dining, studying, and socializing. Five freshly prepared meals a day are provided by a team from the local award-winning restaurant 36. Line.
EIS provides visa support for international boarders.
Boarding guardians are available 24/7, offering full pastoral care, as well as social and emotional support. Regular community-building events, from weekly brunches to field trips, foster a strong sense of belonging.
EIS also offers a variety of after-school activities, a weekend program, and sports options.
Students actively participate in various social and charitable projects, with community service being part of the curriculum.
