Questions to ponder as ‘Tonight Show’ drama unfolds again
You’d think NBC would have learned its lesson. Nope! “Late Night ” host Jimmy Fallon is rumored to unseat Jay Leno as the new host of the “Tonight Show” in 2014. While the change isn’t going to stop the world, the prospect of another round of talk-show turbulence raises a series of questions: Why do we care?

Because it’s funny! Name an NBC show with more laughs, intrigue, double-dealing and disgrace than when the network moved Jay Leno to prime time and handed Conan O’Brien “Tonight,” then reversed its decision several months later.
