A Des Moines, Iowa, woman stepped into the shower last week to ease stomach pains and emerged with a newborn. “I got in the shower, not even five minutes after that, I was like, my stomach is still hurting. Not even five seconds [later], I had to push,” said Brittany Young, 24. Her fourth child soon arrived. Young had gone to the hospital in January, found out she was pregnant and was told “12 weeks.” She thought she was 12 weeks pregnant, not 12 weeks from giving birth. (AP)

State wildlife officers resuscitated a 66-inch sturgeon and cited the man who pulled the fish from the Sacramento River in California. Officers spotted the suspected poacher along the river last week. The man hooked a large fish and drove off with it in his pickup truck. Officers pulled him over and brought the fish back to the riverbed, where they rocked it back and forth, moving water over its gills. After 20 minutes, the fish swam away. (AP)

Birth of a national symbol NATURE For the first time in nearly 70 years, the U.S. National Arboretum has a bald eagle that has laid eggs in a nest on part of its 400-plus acres in Northeast Washington. Officials at the arboretum said Friday that although they are not sure how many eggs are in the nest, they believe they were laid in late January and they expect the eaglets to hatch possibly as soon as this week. The last time a known bald eagle nest was at the arboretum was in 1947. “We are extremely excited,” Susan Greeley, an agricultural research technician there, said of the nest. “It is the national

symbol, and they are here at the National Arboretum.” Bald eagles have been taken off the endangered species list, but there are strict federal rules protecting them, including that

they remain undisturbed while mating and nesting. Laws also require buffer zones to be created around their nesting areas. For months, experts have been watching the eagles at

the arboretum off New York Avenue NE. Dan Rauch, a wildlife biologist with the District’s Department of the Environment, first saw the pair of bald eagles in the fall near Kingman Island, which lies south of the arboretum. Officials lost track of the pair late last year. But in early January, staff at the arboretum told Rauch they saw an eagle pair in a 90-foot tulip poplar tree. Staff said they noticed a “huge twig nest” high up in the tree, according to Greeley. For visitors hoping to catch a glimpse of the birds at the arboretum, officials recommend going to the parking lot off M Street NE. From there, visitors can reportedly catch a glimpse of the adult eagles flying to and from the nest. Bring binoculars. DANA HEDGPETH (THE WASHINGTON POST)

A transit officer shot a man Thursday in a Metro tunnel between stations.

METRO TRANSIT POLICE DEPARTMENT

TRANSPORTATION Metro Transit police are searching for a woman who they say stabbed a station manager at Stadium-Armory with a kitchen knife around 11:45 a.m. Sunday because he wouldn’t let her through the fare gate without paying, authorities said. Dan Stessel, a Metro spokesman, said the unidentified woman walked into the station’s 19th and C streets SE entrance and asked the station manager if she could walk in without a farecard. When the manager said no, she spat on him, Stessel said. Authorities said the woman began fighting with the manager and at some point stabbed him with a steak knife. She left the station after the assault. Metro police recovered the handle of the knife at the station. Its blade broke off in the victim. Stessel said the manager was in stable condition at an area hospital Sunday evening.

Authorities are looking for a woman who police said stabbed a Stadium-Armory station manager.

The stabbing comes just days after another violent incident near the same station. On Thursday night, a Metro Transit police officer fatally shot a man inside the tunnel between the

Several of our studies seek to better understand the causes of depression and evaluate the mechanisms in the brain that are related to rapid antidepressant improvement. These studies enroll depressed persons between the ages of 18 and 65 for an inpatient period of 2- to 3-months. Researchers will evaluate how the experimental medication ketamine, versus placebo, affects glutamate in the brain and whether a rapid reduction of depressive symptoms (within hours) can be achieved and sustained.

No showers in Brazil? That’s a sticky solution During Rio de Janeiro’s long summers of sticky tropical heat, Viviane Vargas says she needs three showers a day to feel clean. She isn’t alone: Surveys say Brazilians are the world’s most frequent bathers, taking on average 12 showers a week (the world average is just under seven), putting bathing up there with soccer and Carnival as cultural essentials. But a historic drought that is making taps run dry across southeastern Brazil has people worried they might be asked to cut down on their beloved showers. “Showers are part of our roots as Brazilians. Not being able to shower in a country as hot as this, … well, it’s enough to cause a revolt,” said Renata Ashcar, co-author of the book “The Bath: Histories and Rituals.” (AP)

Robert Durst was arrested Saturday in the murder of Susan Berman.

‘The Jinx’ charged with 2000 murder NEW ORLEANS Robert Durst, a wealthy eccentric linked to two killings and his wife’s disappearance, was arrested Saturday in New Orleans on a murder warrant. Durst was arrested by FBI agents at a J.W. Marriott hotel, on a Los Angeles warrant for the murder of Susan Berman 15 years ago, FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said. Durst, 71, has never been charged in connection with the unsolved 2000 murder of Berman in Hollywood, who was killed as New York authorities prepared to question her in the 1982 disappearance of his wife, Kathie. He moved to Texas after Berman’s death, where he lived as a woman before being acquitted in

the 2001 dismemberment death of his Galveston neighbor, Morris Black. Durst said that killing was in self-defense. Durst, whose father made billions in New York real estate, has always denied involvement in his wife’s disappearance or Berman’s murder. Lawyer Chip Lewis, who successfully defended Durst in the Texas killing, said his client will waive extradition and be transported to L.A. to face the charges. The arrest came on the eve of Sunday’s broadcast on HBO of the final episode of “The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst.” Lewis said the arrest was orchestrated by Hollywood to come before the final episode. S. Africa’s nuclear stash vulnerable, U.S. worries PELINDABA, SOUTH AFRICA Enough nuclear explosives to fuel half a dozen bombs, each powerful enough to obliterate most of Lower Manhattan, are locked in a former silver vault at a research center near Pretoria, South Africa. Technicians extracted the highly enriched uranium from the apartheid regime’s nuclear weapons in 1990, then melted the fuel down and cast it into ingots. Over the years, some of the cache has been used to make medical isotopes, but roughly 485 pounds remain, and South Africa is keeping a tight grip on it. That gives the country a

theoretical ability to regain its former status as a nuclear-weapons state. But what really worries the United States is that the nuclear explosives here could be stolen and used by militants to commit the worst terror attack in history. U.S. officials say they have reason to be concerned. In 2007, two teams of raiders breached the fences at the Pelindaba research center. One group penetrated deep into the site unchallenged before being stopped. The episode remains a source of contention between Pretoria and Washington because no suspects were ever charged and

#AskHamas doesn’t work as planned A Twitter hashtag campaign launched by Hamas to build support in the West seems to be backfiring, with users mocking the Islamic militant group that rules Gaza. Hamas launched #AskHamas on Friday and promised “Truth from the mouth of the horse.” Some Twitter users swiftly responded with mockery. One asked if a masked Hamas gunman was “single and ready to mingle.” Some criticized Hamas for hiding weapons in civilian areas in its war last summer with Israel. A Twitter user whose profile identified her as an Israeli diplomat asked: “Given a choice, is it better to hide a weapons cache in a hospital’s radiology or pediatrics unit?” Hamas said the campaign was launched so it could express its views directly to the world. South African officials dismissed it as a minor, bungled burglary. U.S. officials and experts say the assailants appeared to know what they were doing and what they wanted: the bomb-grade uranium. The episode still spooks Washington, which has waged a discreet campaign to persuade South Africa to get rid of its stock of nuclear-weapons fuel. But President Jacob Zuma has resisted persistent entreaties and incentives to do so. He insists that South Africa needs its nuclear materials and is capable of keeping them secure. New economic metric: Luxury toilet paper Americans have a new favorite way to flush money down the drain: luxury toilet paper. Sales in the United States of what the industry calls “luxury” rolls — anything quilted, lotioned, perfumed or ultra-soft, from two- to four-ply — climbed to $1.4 billion last year, outpacing all other kinds of toilet paper for the first time in nearly a decade, data from market research firm Euromonitor International show. The luxury market is onefourth the size of the standard TP market, but its prominence in Big Wipe is growing faster than many industry watchers expected. Luxury toilet paper sales have grown more than 70 percent since 2000, and they’re expected to keep growing faster than all other categories every year through at least 2018. Though it’s a little pricier, analysts said, nearly everyone can still afford this style of bath tissue, making it a surprising barometer for how confident Americans are that they can afford a minor splurge. Before last year, luxury toilet paper’s sales growth last beat out the other rolls in 2000 and 2005, both boom years for the U.S. economy. “Even in a down market, people want a little bit of luxury,” said Anna Umphress, a spokeswoman at consumergoods firm Georgia-Pacific, which makes Quilted Northern and Angel Soft. Taking a bite out of seafood crime Federal officials plan to track every fish and crustacean shipped to U.S. ports BUSINESS For crimes committed on the high seas, Arnold Bengis is going to pay. He’s already served a five-year federal prison sentence for stealing massive amounts of rock lobster from South African waters and importing it to the United States. Now a federal judge wants him and two co-conspirators to fork over $20 million in restitution to the South Africans. Described as a modern-day pirate, Bengis is the face of fishery crime. The illegal fishing and fraud he engaged in is part of a global black market valued by experts at up to $23 billion. It’s exactly what the Obama administration targeted Sunday in announcing a new plan to stop seafood crime. The plan includes a system that aims to track every wild fish and crustacean from

where it is caught to where it is shipped in the U.S. Before any seafood enters the U.S. market, officials said, it must contain information that federal, state and local officials currently do not ask for: its origin, who caught it, when and with what. That data can be taken by any authority at a port and submitted to a central database for tracking. Traceability from harvest to ports is “new, and that is the story,” said Russell Smith, deputy assistant secretary for international fisheries at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Government agencies across the board will be required to share and synthesize such information for the first time. Traceability will take at least two years to phase in, Smith said, focusing first on threatened stocks such as Atlantic bluefin

tuna and sea bass before full implementation by September 2016 traces all fish. The need to enforce fishing limits was highlighted in a study last year in the journal Marine Policy that estimated that 85 percent of world’s commercial fish stock is being harvested up to or beyond its biological capacity “as our protein hungry planet”

The United States is the world’s second-largest market for imported seafood, behind the European Union, and more than 80 percent of what Americans eat arrives from aquatic farms and coasts off Russia, Chile, Thailand and Vietnam. But of wild-caught seafood that ends up in U.S. fish counters, as much as 32 percent of it is imported illegally. Conservationist groups that pushed the administration to better protect global fishing stocks for years cheered the report. Michele Kuruc of the World Wildlife Fund called it historic. “For the near 30 years I’ve been doing this, we’ve never even come close to something like this report,” Kuruc said. But a spokesman for the National Fisheries Institute, a nonprofit industry organization that has questioned the science and motives of such studies, said that some traceability is necessary but that the plan is an overreach. “We have serious concerns about talk of expanding this effort to all fish” when focusing only on fish at risk of being depleted “makes the most sense,” said spokesman Gavin Gibbons. “If tilapia … is not a wild-caught species, then why would the government expend resources to expand the effort to tilapia?” A nd , he added: “ W here is the money for this going to come from?” DARRYL FE AR S (THE WASHINGTON POST)

How to beat Kentucky

NCAA TOURNAMENT

Marching in together

The Wildcats head into the NCAA tournament undefeated — with their past 10 victories coming by an average of 20.1 points. If anyone is going to take down this juggernaut, here’s what they’ll need to do.

This is the first time since 2007 that Maryland, Virginia and Georgetown have made the NCAA tournament in the same year, and each earned a top four seed on Selection Sunday. So how deep of a run will they make? Here’s a look at each team’s paths to the Final Four and who needs to step up if they have any chance of making it to Indianapolis. JEFFREY TOMIK (EXPRESS)

POSSIBLE PATH: If the top seeds advance, here are the teams the Hoyas would play en route to the Final Four: No. 13 Eastern Washington, No. 5 Utah, No. 1 Duke, No. 2 Gonzaga.

TOURNAMENT HISTORY: Last year as a top seed, Virginia lost to Michigan State in the Sweet 16. The Cavaliers last made the Elite Eight in 1995.

TOURNAMENT HISTORY: This marks the Terps’ first NCAA tournament berth under Mark Turgeon, who came to College Park in 2011.

TOURNAMENT HISTORY: Since making the Final Four in 2007, the Hoyas are 2-5 and haven’t made it to the Sweet 16 in five tournaments.

WHAT THEY DO BEST: Control the pace. Virginia leads the country in scoring defense (50.8 points allowed per game). The Cavaliers held six opponents under 40 points this season.

WHAT THEY DO BEST: Close out games. Dez Wells and Melo Trimble can create their own shots, hit free throws and find others. They’re the reason the Terps were 11-1 in games decided by six points or less this season.

WHAT THEY DO BEST: Get their star involved. D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera reached 20 points in five of his past 10 games. The Hoyas are extremely reliant on Smith-Rivera, who attempted 125 more shots than anyone else on the team.

WHO NEEDS TO STEP UP? Jake Layman has been the Terps’ third scoring option, but he gets too passive on offense at times. In Saturday’s loss to Michigan State, the junior forward attempted just three shots and scored six points. The Terps need Layman to be more assertive.

WHO NEEDS TO STEP UP? Isaac Copeland. The freshman was quite erratic this season. In his past nine games, he scored 12 or more points four times, while being held to five points or less in the other five games. If he plays well in the tournament, this could be a dangerous team.

WHO NEEDS TO STEP UP? Justin Anderson (broken pinky and appendectomy) returned in the ACC tournament, but he was scoreless in 26 minutes and shot 0-for-6 in two games. For a team that struggles to score, Virginia needs Anderson playing like he did before the injury, when he reached double-digits in 17 of 21 games.

The Wildcats are bigger and more athletic than most NBA teams and they like to run the floor. Limit transition buckets by slowing the pace and taking care of the ball.

2 Challenge their bigs It’s no easy task, but don’t be afraid to take on Kentucky’s 7-footers. Too many teams settle for long-range shots against the Wildcats, who rank third in 3-point defense.

1 Get a little lucky If coach John Calipari has his team playing up to its potential, no one will beat them. But the Wildcats at times struggle shooting from the outside, so an off game is not out of the question.

THIRD ROUND

1 Kentucky (34-0)

No. 7 Wichita State. The Shockers have plenty of tournament experience, with Ron Baker and Fred VanVleet both playing a big part in that Final Four run in 2013. Before falling to Illinois State in the Missouri Valley semifinals, Wichita State was ranked No. 8 in the AP poll so this is a little harsh of a seeding. No. 1 Kentucky. Can the Wildcats handle the pressure? When Willie Cauley-Stein and Kentucky played the No. 2 seed in this region, Kansas, earlier this year, it won by 32 points. Their biggest challenge may come against an offensively efficient Notre Dame team in the Elite Eight.

No. 4 North Carolina. Marcus Paige has been on a tear, averaging 18 points in his past five games, and the emergence of freshman Justin Jackson could key a deep run. With Wisconsin and Arizona in this region, this might be the toughest to pick.

SWEET 16 SLEEPER No. 6 Providence. Kris Dunn, the Big East co-player of the year, does a little of everything for the Friars. He’s averaging 15.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 7.6 assists a game.

FINAL FOUR PREDICTION No. 7 Michigan State. If Justin Anderson gets healthy, Virginia could win this region. And Villanova hasn’t lost since Jan. 19. But let’s go with Tom Izzo, who always has his team playing its best in March. Branden Dawson had a huge Big Ten tournament and Denzel Valentine is a matchup nightmare.

Belmont (22-10) 15

Duke (29-4) 1

11 BYU/Ole Miss

SECOND-ROUND UPSET No. 12 Wyoming over No. 5 Northern Iowa. Neither of these teams can score, so the first team to 40 might win. Wyoming had a midseason slump after Larry Nance Jr. was diagnosed with mono. But with its leading scorer back, the Cowboys won the Mountain West.

Georgia State coach Ron Hunter may have ruptured his Achilles during Sun Belt title celebration

South SECOND-ROUND UPSET No. 10 Davidson over No. 7 Iowa. Before losing to VCU in the A-10 semifinals, the Wildcats had a 10-game winning steak and were one of the hottest teams in the country. They share the ball (third in the NCAA in assists) and can score with ease (79.9 points per game).

SWEET 16 SLEEPER No. 6 SMU. The last time coach Larry Brown was in the NCAA tournament, he was leading “Danny and the Miracles” to a national title with Kansas in 1988. His SMU squad went 25-3 after losing three of its first five games of the season.

FINAL FOUR PREDICTION No. 1 Duke. Led by Jahlil Okafor, the Blue Devils are the most complete offensive team in the country. On the bottom of this region, Gonzaga and Iowa State also have plenty of balance. JEFFREY TOMIK (EXPRESS)

ATLANTIC 10 TITLE GAME

VCU 71, Dayton 65

Treveon Graham scored 20 points and Doug Brooks made a huge steal in the final minute to help VCU beat Dayton and win its first Atlantic 10 tournament championship. The fifth-seeded Rams (26-9) had lost the past two A-10 finals — in their first two seasons in the conference. It’s been four years since coach Shaka Smart and the Rams went to the Final Four. Last year, VCU was knocked out of the NCAA tournament in its first game. (AP) SEC TITLE GAME

Kentucky 78, Ark. 63 Willie Cauley-Stein scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Kentucky never trailed in beating Arkansas in the SEC championship game. The Wildcats (34-0) are only the fourth team to go into the NCAA tournament undefeated since Indiana finished off the last perfect season with a title in 1976. (AP) BIG TEN TITLE GAME

Wisc. 80, Mich. St. 69, Nigel Hayes scored 25 points, Frank Kaminsky added 19 and No. 6 Wisconsin outscored Michigan State 11-0 in overtime Sunday for an 80-69 victory in the Big Ten championship. (AP) AMERICAN TITLE GAME

A clubhouse outbreak of pink eye is forcing the Brewers to find a new way to celebrate top plays at spring training. As in, no high-fiving until the condition is under control. Catcher Jonathan Lucroy and pitching coach Rick Kranitz were the latest victims of pink eye. They stayed home in hopes of stopping the spread of the annoying and highly contagious malady that causes itchy eyes, among other symptoms. “We’ve been going through it for a while and it seems like a couple of more show up every day,” manager Ron Roenicke, below, said. “Trying to stay away from it. We can’t have it go through the whole clubhouse.” For now, Milwaukee players are supposed to avoid high-fives and instead tap elbows or bump batting glove-covered fists. JOSE M. ROMERO (AP)

Sometimes enthusiasm is too infectious

Strategy in free agency signals philosophy shift Redskins, McCloughan sticking to their plan to focus on the draft REDSKINS Many wondered exactly what the McCloughan Way would look like, and now that the Redskins have been through an under-theradar week of free agency, there is some clarity. When he addressed the media for the first time as Washington’s general manager in January, Scot McCloughan said the Redskins would rely on the draft because “you draft and mold your own and re-sign your own.” But, he added, “free agency is still there to be used to make a roster stronger, too.” It sounded like a change in direction for the Redskins. But no one really knew whether owner Dan Snyder and president Bruce Allen had truly turned over the keys to McCloughan. Well, the busiest days of the free agent shopping period have come and gone, and everything

Clippers star forward Blake Griffin returns after missing 15 games because of an elbow injury

Welcome to D.C. Here’s who the Redskins have added in free agency: DE Stephen Paea, 26, had six sacks last year for the Bears. He agreed to a four-year deal. NT Terrance Knighton, 28, was a starter on the Broncos’ defensive line last season. He agreed to a oneyear, $4 million deal. CB Chris Culliver, 26, had four interceptions in 14 games with the 49ers in 2014. He signed a four-year, $32 million contract.

that played out followed the model outlined by McCloughan. Washington signed precisely one player on Day 1 of free agency, which officially began Tuesday: defensive lineman Stephen Paea, who recorded six sacks last season for the Bears and should improve the interior pass rush. The Redskins on Thursday agreed to a one-year deal with another defensive lineman, run-stuffer Terrance

Knighton from Denver. And on Friday morning, they signed 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver to a four-year deal that features $16 million in guaranteed money. The quick-fix days of signing other team’s stars have ended. The Band-Aid deals with long-inthe-tooth veterans are no more. McCloughan will hang on to every last draft pick and try to get more if he can. The Redskins still need help at safety, linebacker and the offensive line. Those positions may have to be addressed in the draft, and that’s OK with McCloughan. He does not see the Redskins as a quick-fix project. The team has taken such a scatter-shot approach to the draft for so many years, and taken so many flyers on free agents, that the foundation is weak. McCloughan has his plan and thus far, Snyder and Allen have let him stick to it. Up next, the draft, the step that carries even more importance in McCloughan’s mind. MIKE JONES (THE WASHINGTON POST)

From left, Rebecca Corry, Nick Zano and Elisha Cuthbert make a weird family on “One Big Happy.”

MUST-SEE THIS WEEK

In this new comic-book adaptation, Rose McIver plays Liv, a medical residentturned-zombie. She inherits the memories of her victims, thrusting her into risky situations as she seeks her means of survival.

NBC’s comedy ‘One Big Happy’ is based on its creator, her best friend and his wife

TELEVISION Everyone has those days when their life feels like a sitcom. Starting at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday on NBC, writer Liz Feldman’s life really will be a sitcom, when “One Big Happy,” her show based on a painful personal experience, premieres. Elisha Cuthbert plays a lesbian having a baby with her straight Feldman male best friend, a plan suddenly complicated when he marries another woman. Feldman wrote an outline for the pilot in 2008, after she had a similar experience. Her best friend Jason Allen had just told her that he had met the love of his life. She and Allen met at Boston University and remained

inseparable through their 20s. “We did everything but each other together,” she said. Feldman knew she wanted kids. So they had an understanding: If she remained single, Allen would father her children. Panicked when she learned Allen had proposed, she responded, “Well, you told her about our plan, didn’t you? … He was like, … ‘Yeah, we’ll talk about it once we get married,’ ” Feldman said. “And I could feel that our plan was slipping away. To be totally frank, I was jealous that I didn’t have my best friend in the same capacity anymore. I was so weirded out that I was jealous that the only thing I could do was write about it.” Feldman, who went on to write for “Two Broke Girls” and Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime show, got the

Producer’s credit The show’s producer, Ellen DeGeneres, wasn’t looking for a script about gays or lesbians when she found “One Big Happy.” “All I wanted to do was to put out really funny material, smart and thoughtprovoking,” she said. chance to revisit her own story with “One Big Happy.” “I learned an amazing lesson, taught to me by Ellen, that when you are authentic, it’s really powerful,” she said. “People relate to it, but everyone might not like it.” I n the pi lot, Cuthber t’s

character gets pregnant from her friend’s sperm donation, which Feldman never did. In the same episode, that friend, played by Nick Zano, meets, marries, breaks up with and gets back together with his love interest. Fictional Liz doesn’t like this new woman, a free-spirited Brit played by Rebecca Corry. In real life, Feldman and Allen’s wife are good friends. Feldman and her wife are godparents to Allen’s son. “We want to have kids,” she said. “It won’t be with him.” Feldman and Allen are still working together: He’s a writer on “One Big Happy.” “I’ve always wanted to write for a sitcom,” Allen said. “It took Liz making me a character on her own show to make it happen.”

2 ‘Empire’ 8 p.m. Wednesday on Fox

For the finale of its massively successful freshman season, the drama series pulled out all the stars, including Patti LaBelle, Snoop Dogg, Rita Ora, Jennifer Hudson, Judd Nelson and Gabourey Sidibe.

introduces the throwback to the roots of Mountain Dew. DewShine is a clear version of the bright-yellow soda that is sweetened with sugar instead of corn syrup and served in retro-looking longneck bottles. Critics say the packaging looks too much like beer and that this is a blatant attempt by the company to hark back to the days when the soda was created as a mixer for moonshine.

responds to reports that the New York Police Department has been making edits to the Wikipedia pages of people controversially killed by officers. Capital New York reported on Thursday that edits to the pages related to the deaths of Eric Garner, Sean Bell and Amadou Diallo were among a host of entries that were traced back to IP addresses registered to computers located at 1 Police Plaza. One edit, for example, changed “Garner raised both his arms in the air” to “Garner flailed his arms about as he spoke.” The NYPD on Friday denied the edits were made at its headquarters.

After discovering they shared the same rare blood type, Cook offered to help. Jobs wouldn’t hear of it, according to “Becoming Steve Jobs,” a biography about the late CEO out March 24.

@DELRAYSER is seriously impressed by a Vine video released by the White House on Friday that features Vice President Joe Biden performing arm curls with a 30-pound dumbbell while chatting on the phone. In the video, Biden nonchalantly says he does a million of them a day. “A million arm curls. Calls with world leaders. All in a day’s work,” the accompanying tweet said. The Vine is part of the #GimmeFive challenge announced by first lady Michelle Obama last month, in which she challenged the nation to give her “five ways to be healthy.”

“Cook’s offer to undergo such a procedure sheds light on the closeness of his relationship with Jobs in the latter’s later years.”

A cold front closes in, but should stay far enough north to keep most of us dry through the night.

ATTACKS

Adults gang up on youth Justin Bieber on Saturday got his birthday wish: a Comedy Central Roast attended by a slew of comedians, plus Shaquille O’Neal and Martha Stewart. The special airs March 30, but we’ve rounded up the best and meanest jabs here, as reported by People magazine. (EXPRESS)

KEVIN HART, opening

the roast by insisting that Bieber deserves a night of verbal abuse

“Last year, you were ranked the fifth mosthated person of all time. Kim Jong-Un didn’t rank that high. And he uses your music to torture people.” O’NEAL, telling Bieber he is more despised than North Korea’s dictator

“Justin, you are the King Joffrey of Pop.” JEFFREY ROSS, a comedian who has roasted Joan Rivers and David Hasselhoff, comparing Bieber to a similarly small, blond, much-mocked character on HBO’s “Game of Thrones”

“What do you get when you give a teenager $200 million? A bunch of has-beens calling you a lesbian for two hours.” BIEBER, showing signs of insult fatigue as the roast neared its end. Bieber also apologized for his past behavior.

KANYE WEST, expressing to Clique TV his belief that toys with “quality, soul, life, energy” can make kids smarter

Kathy Griffin said she was surprised by the support for her announcement Thursday that she is leaving “Fashion Police.” “It just wasn’t the right thing for me,” she said at a stand-up show Friday, according to TMZ.
