For years, I have dreamed of working either for a magazine or creating my own and now here we are. Dreams really do come true! What is your name and what is it I would have to say, the absolute best part of what i do, is the innate joy i can see that you do? Melissa Christina Morris and I am a Photographer, Creator of Visual Art.
Do you have any artist inspirations? I have so many inspirations, Sue Bryce I do feel is every fashion photographers dream role model, as well as so many localized talents, such as Laura Dark, Amanda Hedgepeth, and so many others, the list would take forever.
What is art and how do you define it? Art to me is one’s self interpretation of what beauty is, what evokes emotions, such as sadness, tranquility, joy, passion, Art is everything and everyone around you, it is in how you see your world. Art to me is my window to opening my soul and allowing it to speak in imagery.
What is the best part about being an artist for you?
when a client gets to see a finished proof for the first time. The renwed sene of love for onesself, the remembrance of just how beautiful everyone really and truly is. The delight in seeing them through my eyes. The fact of joy and self confidence, this is why I do what I do.
Tell me about this photo set. How did it become what it is? I was actually researching butterflies and had come across an image of butterflies surrounding a beautiful model in a field. So I had the desire to bring the beauty of those majestic insects and the beauty of a woman together in a cohesive work of art. So I had spoken with my former MUA, for that project and we started playing around. It just naturally fell into place, the result is one of my most favorite sets ever created.

What is your name and what is it that you do? Mitch Westcott, I’m a student currently working towards my bachelors degree in fine arts and photography.
Do you have any artist inspirations? My inspirations come from everything, magazines, videos games, everyday weird people. but my favorite photographer is Magdalena Wosinska, her raw style is my absolute favorite. She makes photography fun, with images of her travels with her band and parties with a touch of craziness.
What is art and how do you define it? Art in my own words is something that’s going to make you stop. Wether you like it or hate it, you’re still stopping to look. You’re
still thinking about the image. Breaking it down piece by piece to either raise it up or tear it down.
What is the best part about being an artist for you? Everything about being an artist is the best, the struggle, the ideas, the end product. If I wasn’t being creative, working a 9 to 5 it would stifle me and I would explode and die.
Tell me about this photo set. How did it become what it is? This photo set came up almost on random, wanting to explore Ender’s forest in Granby CT. Anne Marie (The model) and I found some great locations and set up the shots. It was kinda fun wading through the water pools to get to certain locations and having minnows nip at my feet while I was in the water taking the shots.

My name is Mandee Rose and I am a photographer.
I have quite a few. Lara Jade, Yasumasa Morimura, and Jeremy Saffer! Those are my biggest inspirations and influences. In fact, Lara Jade is the reason I picked up a camera!
What is art and how do you define it? Art is everything and anything you can interpret visually. There is no real way of defining it.
The outcome and the responce I get from others. Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s a satisfaction thing!
This shoot specifically was inspired by the incredible Jeffree Star and his love for color. Courtney, Celeste and I all fell in love with this makeup look. I knew exactly where to shoot, what frames and what poses would look the most desirable. We all had so much fun!

8 Tips for Long Lasting Summer Makeup - By Celeste We all love the summer! The beach, those awesome cut off shorts and gorgeous shirtless guys! You know what we don’t love? The lip gloss running down our chin while we flirt with Channing Tatum’s long lost twin! Ladies, don’t be that girl! Here are my tips for flawless summer makeup – that stays put!
Keep it light! Forget full coverage foundations, they can look and feel extra heavy in the heat. Use a tinted moisturizer or BB cream instead. They are sheer, lightweight and help protect skin with SPF. Try Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream, it is sweat proof with SPF 35!
Less is More! When using concealer, remember to only use where needed and do so sparingly. NYX waterproof concealer stick is sweat proof, water proof and sure to stay put! Dab and blend with your finger until desired coverage is reached.

Coat it! We all know to use waterproof mascara to beat raccoon eyes. But if you’re not willing to give up your favorite non h2o proof mascara, try applying clear mascara as a top coat to seal. Another tip is to use clear mascara on the bottom lashes to prevent any mess if you sweat.
Keep it Matte!
If wearing a lipstick, opt for a matte finish, they tend to be more pigmented and long lasting. But the hottest product on the scene right now is liquid lipstick! My favorites are the Limecrime Velvetines! It goes on as a liquid and dries completely matte, leaving a transfer proof finish with a color for the girly girl, goth girl and everyone in between.

Do you have any artist inspirations? I have tons! I follow many of them on tumblr and flickr. Mostl of them are younger people like me who make beautiful photos in abandoned places.
Tell me about this set of photos. How did they become what they are? They started off as a school project for my Photography II class (a film class). They were done on black and white film and developed by me. However, I naturally brought my digital camera along and I ended up liking the color photographs the best, and thats what you see here. The idea came from the fact that I love shooting in abandoned places. But I also love shooting fashion and I wanted to really challenge myself. So, abandoned place + girl in white dress. I loved how creepy the photos started being, the model looks out of place, but also like she belongs. The shoots are always fun too. I just like the idea and that theres always something to improve on. I think this will be an idea thats going to stick with me for a while.
What is art and how do you define it? To me, art is thought and ideas. Art means using your brain; really thinking and going to a deep place, way waaaay back in your brain, and letting things happen. Art is letting things just happen, letting things just simply be. Art is making something beautiful but without trying too hard, because I find when I try too hard things fall apart. Art isn’t easy. What is the best part about being an artist for you? Well personally I love being broke all of the time (not really). What I love most is just having pride in doing something I love. What is your name and what is it that you do?
My name is Trisha Fargo and I am a fashion photographer.
Do you have any artist inspirations?
I have many artist inspirations, there is so much talent in this industry its hard not to! Some of my favorites include Emily Soto, Amanda Diaz and Three Nails Photography. All of these artist have a unique take on capturing their subjects, its not hard to see where their fame comes from.
What is art and how do you define it?
Art is an expression of one’s emotions and how they view the world. It can be literally anything, a photograph, sculpture, song or story. Art and all of its beauty surrounds us. Everywhere you turn in another masterpiece.

The best thing about being an artist is being able to work with others who share your same vision. When I first started I had no idea how to communicate with people and I really do owe my friends for letting me practice on them.
Tell me about this photo set. How did it become what it is?
This photo set with the beautiful Jordan was one of my proudest shoots I have ever done. I had shot with Jordan once before and she brought the idea of shooting at this location with her grandmother’s wedding dress. I was more than intrigued! The day came and it was was pouring rain but we decided to go for it anyway. We hiked up a trail to an abandoned paper mill with her grandmother’s wedding dress in tow. The lighting was beyond perfect and the ambiance of the building was uplifting. Getting muddied and dirty was well worth it!
