Military Connectors- Historical Development & Uses The United States of America Department of Defense began using connectors as early as 1930s, which is to say that since the era of the aftermath of the of First World War and the two year prior to the commencement of The Second Word War. The connectors were used for the aeronautical as well as strategic service-related uses.
