What kinds of goods does Melly offer? Melly is the store to come to for classic items that are meant to become favorites and last a long time. We don’t believe in disposable shopping and our items are well made, classic in style and will be worn and enjoyed for many years.

What makes Melly special?

The staff, the customers and the wellcurated product offering are what make Melly special. Melly employees are selected because of the way they treat people and they are trained to be kind and fair to the customer, the product and the Galleria. Because of this many of our customers have shopped with us for the 15 years we’ve been in business and many of our staff have been with us for more than 10 years. The well-edited selection means you must come shop often to see what is new.

Where does your name come from?

The name comes from our owners—a mother and daughter team. The mother, Mary Mead, and her daughter, Caryn Mead Kelly, began Melly in 2006. The name is a combination of Mead and Kelly.

Favorite staples in your shop?

Our staples include Lilly Pulitzer dresses, Longchamp Le Pliage totes, Julie Voss earrings, MZ Wallace Sutton bags, P-Jama night gowns and pjs, On Cloud running shoes and many others.

What do you love about Edina?

What we love about Edina is Edina is our home. Owners Mary Mead and Caryn Kelly, and myself, have all lived in Edina our entire adult lives.
