Shelburne Public Library
Andrew Carnegie, a Scottish-American industrialist and philanthropist believed in free educationhe built 2509 public libraries around the world! A grant of $6000 from the Carnegie Foundation in 1911 made it possible for the Town of Shelburne to build its own The Shelburne Public Library opened its doors on February 12, 1912
St. John‘s Church, Mono
The red brick church which still stands to this day was built in 1878, however the cemetery at this location predates the building. Amongst the early graves is that of William Robinson, his headstone tells the story that he was killed in 1831 when he had taken refuge in a hollow tree that was struck by lightening
The Grand Valley School House
Located on Main Street, Grand Valley, the school house was built in 1892. This brick building held public school classes on the main floor, and secondary school classes held on the second floor The school closed in 1959.

Our farmers are excited to share their farming knowledge and the day to day operation and challenges of farming. There will be many animals to see, farm-related activities, commodity displays, and local produce to purchase. The Club is one of the most popular in Southern Ontario, with membership fees among the most affordable in Ontario for both recreational skiers & racers alike, due to the commitment of our many volunteer members. We have 16 km of trails designed to cater to all levels of skiers from novice to expert with a variety of trails groomed for Classic, Skate Skiing, or both. Our 2 km Red A trail loop is lit for night skiing until 9pm and all other trails are open until 7pm.

Visit a bee yard and get some hands-on experience working with honey bees. You will get to open the hive, use the smoker, find the queen bee, spot eggs, and hold a frame of honey - all while learning about honey bees. This experience is 1 hour in length.
During the beekeeping experience, please wear loose fitting light coloured long pants and closed-toe shoes. Covid-19 safety protocols will be followed and a disinfected beekeeping jacket with veil and gloves will be provided.
Children under 3 are free. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) who must also possess a valid ticket for the same date and time.
