There are so many different avenues to explore in design, it’s hard to know where to start. In this article, we break down the differences between a Digital Product Designer vs a UX/UI Designer. These titles are often used interchangeably but they are two very different roles.

Though they appear to be very identical, they are two different titles for a reason. Product Designers are more involved in the end-to-end design of a digital product determining its viability, scope, feasibility, economics, etc. A UX/UI designer is focused on the design and user experience of the product throughout the design process. As simple as it may sound, this difference in purpose distinguishes their roles, responsibilities and money they earn.
