talent As Boston University’s premiere step team, X-Ception strives to promote cultural awareness throughout the Boston Univesity community. Through an array of various themes, movements, and rhythms, X-Ception informs and celebrates aspects unique to the step culture. X-cellence is the standard . . . not the goal! At 23, Pop and R&B singer-songwriter, guitarist, producer, and actor, Colby O’Donis, is already a veteran in the entertainment industry. Fame found Colby at age ten, when he became the youngest artist ever signed to Motown Records. At 14, Colby began opening shows for major recording artists, including JoJo, Backstreet Boys, 98°, N’Sync and Brian McKnight. Colby released his debut album in 2008 along with his hit single, “What You Got” featuring Akon (which reached #14 on the Billboard Hot 100). talent Pitch Slapped is the premiere co-ed acapella group representing Berklee College of Music. Founded in 2006, Pitch Slapped has enjoyed a rapid climb to notoriety, appearing on NBCâ€™s The Sing Off in 2010, followed by being crowned the 2011 International Collegiate Champions at Lincoln Center in New York City. Their repertoire consists of a variety of styles, ranging from pop, to rock, to R&B. In low-income communities, 75% of children cannot access high-quality summer learning opportunities. You can help us make sure every child reaches their potential. Will you sponsor a scholar and make a change in a scholarâ€™s life today? $5,000 will sponsor a teacher to provide small group academic instruction to 10 scholars. $3,000 will Sponsor 2 Scholars to participate in BELL Summer or BELL After School. $1,500 will SPONSOR A SCHOLAR. Your donation will cover the costs of 1 scholar to participate in BELL Summer or BELL After School. $1,000 will pay for personalized tutoring for 1 scholar. $500 will pay for literacy and math curriculum and supplies for 1 scholar.
