Welcome to VGM

On behalf of VGM Group employee owners, welcome to the VGM family. We’ve grown and changed a lot since Van G. Miller first envisioned a community of home medical equipment providers back in 1986. While we still serve small, independent home medical equipment providers, we have evolved to provide more services and solutions to a broader customer base. VGM became 100% employee owned in 2008 through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Today, employee ownership has become central to who we are as a company.

At VGM, we do important, meaningful work. We believe in being leaders in our industries and in our communities. We believe in the power of broad-based employee ownership. In the pages that follow, you’ll find a high-level overview of our company, business units, and culture. It’s a lot of information, but we hope it will serve as a guide for you to refer back to when you need it.

As a 100% employee-owned company, we believe strongly in the power of each individual contributor to shape VGM’s future. We call it the Power of One, and these principles define our corporate culture. (Read more about them on page 5.)
