Making a Difference

We believe in investing in our community to make it a better place. And as a 100% employee-owned company, we have the power to do so by choosing to donate to organizations focused on improving the lives of the people they serve. Each year, VGM hosts the "Be the Change" campaign to give back. VGM's 2022 Be the Change Partner is Operation Threshold, a local organization that reduces poverty in our surrounding counties by meeting people's basic needs and creating opportunities for self-sufficiency. We also contribute to many other organizations. We receive many requests each year, so we developed a philanthropy committee to review the requests to ensure they align with the mission of our giving. Participation in the committee is another growth opportunity for VGM employees.
