Break Beats

Artificial Intellegence

From the first autonomous shopping carts that gets you your groceries, to AIgenerated music that is indistinguishable from the ones created by humans. we’ve watched AI move into exciting new applications.Need some dinner party conversation ammo?, read further!

Venture capital firms invested in AIrelated firms of $111.4 billion in 2021

- Forbes

85% Of customer interactions are projected to be managed without a human by 2020.

- Gartner

Between Hollywood and your dusty stack of sci-fi novels, you’ve been given many outlandish representations of the AI of the future.

But AI is already here!, It’s all around us just in humbler forms.

Intelligent behaviour in an autonomous agent is A.I. It is describing the brain, not the body,of intelligent machines (AI ≠ robots). The AI of today can do specific tasks (driving a car, booking meetings, picking your next Netflix binge). AI research is leading toward something moreadvanced: artificial general intelligence, or AGI. This AI could make a machine do things in a way that is indistinguishable from human behaviour.

But before we strike that last glorious chord, each individual instrument must be played with great expertise. Instruments of AI include: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language.

3,327 number of AI companies listed on Crunchbase.

Data science

Data science enables businesses to process huge amounts of structured and unstructured big data to detect patterns.

This in turn allows companies to increase efficiencies, manage costs, identify new market opportunities, and boost their market advantage.

In fact, internet users generate about 2.5 quin-trillion bytes of data every day. By 2020, every person on Earth will be generating about 146,880 GB of data every day, and by 2025, that will be 165 zeta-bytes every year. This means there is a huge amount of work in data science there is much left to uncover. According to

“The Guardian”, in 2012 only about 0.5 percent of all data was analysed.

Data science applications are frequently used in healthcare, marketing, banking and finance, and policy work.

"AI isn’t the Rise of the Machines, it’s the Machinification of Humans."
3

Data comes from various sources, such as online purchases, multimedia forms, instruments, financial logs, sensors, text files, and others. Data science is not one tool, skill, or method. Instead, it is a scientific approach that uses applied statistical and mathematical theory and computer tools to process big data. Data Science plays a big role here. All those fancy Scifi movies you love to watch around can turn into reality by Data Science.

One of the highest paying careers is data science. Data Scientists earn an average of ₹1,567,500/year, according to "Glassdoor". As a result, Data Science is a very lucrative career choice. Companies that employs large number of data scientists include: Amazon, Deloitte, EY, Accenture, Teradata, Salesforce, TCS, IBM, Microsoft, Cloudera.

Savvy

Panorama

"In the next two to three years, consumer data will be the most important differentiator. Whoever is able to unlock the reams of data and strategically use it will win."

"If the goal is to replace people at every turn, I think AI is headed in the wrong direction. The key to successful AI will be augmented intelligence, in which AI can empower humans by amplifying their skills to make better decisions. This will drive efficiency in so many areas in society and has the power to change things for the positive. The key is to remember that technology is here to assist us, not replace us."

"We now live in a world awash in data so much that we can’t even put it all to good use in many cases. AI is already working to change that. As a component of big data management systems, AI can classify, aggregate, normalize and analyze large data sets more quickly and accurately than a human could ever hope to. Once that’s complete, we can step in to make the higher-order decisions.."

Modern Affairs

Artificial Intelligence in diagnostic Treatments:

Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the United States; as of January 2021.

4

there are more than 3.8 million women with a history of breast cancer in the United States. Doctors often use ultrasound, mammograms, MRI, or biopsy to find or diagnose breast cancer. “Though consistently shown to detect tumours That are responsible for cancers, breast ultrasound has been noted to have high false-positive rates, ” the researchers wrote. The primary goal of the AI system is to reduce the frequency of false-positive findings. It can detect cancer by assigning a probability for malignancy and highlight parts of ultrasound images that are associated with its predictions. At the end AI plays a enormous role in providing patients with accurate results.

Data analytics in National security:

Indian defence and police forces are effectively using data analytics for countering their foes. Border IncursionTerrorists on the other side of the border usually send a herd of cattle to check for mines that the armed forces have placed on the border. Analysis of past data has shown that the next incursion is likely to happen in about eleven or twelve days after a herd of cattle meanders close to the border.

Public agitation -When an agitation happens anywhere across the country, there are multiple factors like social media posts, hashtags or news articles, religious group's posts, etc

Based on these correlation metrics, all data are merged with the intelligence data from police agencies and a protest or agitation is predicted. SmugglingFew data analytics also predict that cross border infiltration and narcotic smuggling spike upwards on cloudy and foggy days.

Bomb Blast - During the 2013 Bangalore blast, Intelligence department analysed 1000 gigabytes of CCTV images from 3-5 traffic signals to reach out the criminal.

Locating strategic areas -During the 2016 assembly elections, Police in Assam used GPS data to plan the deployment of forces.

GPS imagery was used to plot polling booths routes in insurgency hit areas and plan force deployment better in case of disaster recovery.

Locating the criminals - Based on data points of where anonymous calls are arising during any political unrest, police allocate more patrolling vans to those areas.

Using frequency of cell phone tower signals police can locate criminals.

The Adroit measures used by the Indian government in implementing data science for the nation's security reveals that emerging technologies like these are going to bring out a large scopes for employment.

SCHOLARS INSIGHT

Insecurities

Insecurity is something that all of us will experience at one point of life. Insecurity is basically lacking self confidence and self esteem. The main cause of insecurity is lack of emotional support from parents and lack of openess to new people

There are many kind of insecurities as well but the most common one which many people face is body image insecurity. People spend most of their time matching the certain unrealistic beauty standards that society has set and people are bullied or not accepted if they don't match these beauty standards because of which we loose self confidence and become more self conscious and in worst case people will feel that each person they are crossing in street will judge them and don't prefer leaving their home.

The best way to overcome would be work on yourself everyday become a better version of yourself and accept your unique features and understand those certain unique features are actually the one that makes one more beautiful.

SMILE

Smile is the electricity and life is a Battery, whenever we smile, the battery gets charged and a Beautiful day is activated....

So Keep Smiling

We are small dust comparing to this whole galaxy . If we consider ourselves as this celestial being , then why does it matter if you are whole package , or returned or damaged one.

You just be confident enough in the steps you take. It never matters you are a full devil or a broken angle.

VALUE

Always try to seek good values from people and forget the rest of their character. Even if you hate the person try gaining good values from that person instead of completely ignoring and hating.

BROKEN BUT BEAUTIFUL !

How? can one be broken still beautiful? Well, why not ?

Broken things are more wide to the knowledge and experience. Then , why is it broken cannot be fixed ? Is broken a sin, why do we have to stress on that particular word " BROKEN"? . maybe , the broken piece of flower art is no more useful to the big scenarios, but this small left out piece is also a art , no matter what. Just that something is broken , it is never meant that it can't be artistic, it can never fix or it can't be beautiful. Overall , we are basically broken inside from the day we started maintaining contact with this world . Universe has its own way but we are just a broken unmatched piece of art to this universe.

ONCE UPON A TIME...

A teacher named Meena , asked a third grade students to do a home work on dream ie each one should come with a dream Next day in class every student shared a dream. A boy named Rahul said Mam I don’t have any dream ,what should I do then?’ The teacher asked Rahul to wait until all students complete it. A boy named Krish said ‘ Mam I have two dreams, one is to spend my summer vacation with the new born calf at the backyard cowshed and another dream is to tour Tokyo . Now the teacher asked Krish to lend a dream to Rahul and asked Rahul to buy from Krish. Krish thought deeply and told rahul ‘ I will give you my dream to tour Tokyo for Rs 100 Since my dream to spend my summer vacation with calf is immediate, so I will give you my dream to tour Tokyo. Both agreed and krish got Rs 100 and Rahul was happy with the dream to tour Tokyo. Rahul went home happily telling everyone that ‘ have a dream, I have dream’.

Many years passed , Krish became a very big business man and extended his business across the world. One day krish’s daughter asked him to take her to Disneyland in Tokyo. But Krish refused his daughter as he remembered that he sold his dream to tour Tokyo to his friend Rahul. His daughter was stubborn and adamant to visit Tokyo

. so Krish searched Rahul and asked him to return his dream to him. But Rahul declined it. Now Krish imposed charges on Rahul for not returning his dream. The judge after hearing the flashback , enquired Rahul ‘why you are not returning Krish’s dream as Krish’s has his rights in it?. Rahul explained that ‘your honour, after having the dream to tour Tokyo, I got a meaning in myman in the world and I have visited 18 countries. I have got happy family and a luxuries life. It means a lot to me , So I can’t give it back your honour ’ . The judge found a solution to solve this problem and asked rahul to sell his dream to Krish back for a price. Rahul calculated and said that cost of the dream as 22 crores , ie. his earning since the dream came into his life. Krish estimated his property worth and got only Rs.20 crores and understood that he can’t afford it right now and assured one day he will buy back his dream , because he have realized both cost and value of a dream. Dear friends, Hope so this simple story helped all of us to understand the value of dream. Hence as per Dr. Abdul Kalam saying Dream big’ and remember ‘Thinking small is crime’. It is right time to dream now. Also remember dream is something that doesn’t allow you to sleep.

MIND & US!

We teenagers keep running around, not giving enough time to rest our brain and heart The youth full of dreams, pressures, happiness, sadness, so many unsorted things in our life and it's understandable we don't know how to handle or solve most of them.

Mental health, In simple terms, is taking care of your mind like you take care of your body. Bringing self-confidence, selfesteem, self-love and healthy mind to take care of your physical health.

And it's not always a straight upwards line graph I believe that mental health of a person is like waves. It goes up and down or sometimes just stays as still as water, and that's perfectly fine. Anything that invades our mind's well-being and disturbs our day to day cycle is a mental health issue which is as normal as getting a cold or fever. But often times it's importance is ignored by our elders and guardians.

Even after so many years the taboo continues Saying "boys shouldn't cry", "showing your emotions is weakness" ,"you are just overthinking ,you don't have any problems", "It's just a phase" and so on and so forth. But in fact acknowledging that you need help to heal is more sensible than shoving these words onto yourself or others.

As teenagers, we might have experienced mood swings, sudden anger and sadness, being unmotivated to do day to day things, fear, anxiety, feeling unsettled and

disturbed from the inside, fear of future and career, gender dysphoria, bodily insecurities, sexuality identity crisis, peer pressure, fear of quitting, etc.

Would you believe that there is 98% of chance that another person of same age as yours is also going through the same?

Yes, it’s true.

That means, You are not alone! According to a study almost 3% of India's youth population have experienced depressive episodes and suffering from mental health issues.

I'm here to tell you that, your feelings are valid! Your emotions matter and all the pain that you are going through is seen. As the youth of this society, it’s our responsibility to bring change, to address these issues, normalize visiting psychologists, taking break for mental health, being sensitive to other people’s mental health and our own.

Girls group were taken into the company first and given an introduction about the company and the milestones they have reached and also about their ongoing projects.

NCCRD is one of the first company in India and also in the world to have their direct mold to the new satellite design.

We were also given a very clear insight about e50& e200 drones that can carry upto 50kg and 200kg weight respectively that could revolutionize the usage of drones in the impending future. Also we gota live demonstration of the working high speed propellers that is being used in the flyers.

After that we went to the third floor of the building where we're explained about the different types of agents in AI and also virtual reality base using unreal application After that one of the experienced Professor

Dr. Satya narayanan Chakaravarthy

Addressed us about the scope of AI also how a paradigm shift from taxi&cab to a localized 2 or 4 seater air transport will implement in the society and in economy. How near is from being executed &also how affordable or safe it will be. We were taken back by the tremendous knowledge he holds that was obvious in his speech. We were much obliged to meet him Then we moved to the lunch in the campus from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. After our lunch boys group had their session till 3:15pm After the session we boarded the bus at 3:30pm & reached the college by4:00pm
