And with our award-winning spa ready to welcome you, relaxation is at the heart of your Christmas escape.
But at Pennyhill Park, Christmas is about more than indulgence - it’s about well-being. Throughout your stay, the spa is yours to enjoy, whether you start the day with a peaceful swim, take on the 5km Santa Dash, or sink into the warmth of our indoorto-outdoor hydrotherapy pool, soaking under the winter sky without feeling the chill. Each guest will also be treated to a 60-minute spa treatment, the perfect way to unwind and recharge amidst the festivities.
Of course, no Christmas would be complete without exceptional dining. From leisurely breakfasts to the grand Christmas feast itself (you haven’t truly had a Brussels sprout until you’ve tried one of ours), our chefs have crafted a menu to remember. Expect plenty of mulled wine, mince pies, and Champagne, all served with a touch of Pennyhill Park magic.
We pull out all the stops so no-one is left peeling the spuds or finding a way to fit the family round the table, letting everyone enjoy a well-deserved rest at this very special time of year.
‘Twas the night before Christmas
You’ll arrive on Christmas Eve when festivities will be in full swing. Enjoy a cup of hot mulled wine and home-baked treats while you check in, unpack and explore your room at your leisure.
Once
you’ve settled in, why not ease into relaxation with a visit to the spa before joining us on the terrace for a festive feast? If you choose to head to midnight mass, we’ll help you get there – and welcome you back with a hot toddy and mince pie.
Arrival from midday
We’ll greet you with a warming glass of mulled wine and home-baked treats, before dropping off your luggage and making your way to the spa!
The spa will be open daily* with children’s splash time at 3pm to 5pm, so the little ones can enjoy some time in the indoor pool too.
A 60-minute treatment is included for every adult and can be booked on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or 27th December, so you can indulge in the best and feel your best.
Explore our Drawing Room, Games Room and Screening Room throughout your stay, where you’ll discover games and amusements for children and adults of all ages, and festive film fun showing Christmas family favourites, with heaps of popcorn too!

Christmas Eve
Wednesday 24th December 2025
Dress Code: Wrap up warm so you can visit the outdoor food stalls and toast marshmallows by the firepits.
From 5.30pm
Join us on the terrace for the indoor and outdoor cosy festive feast, with food stalls such as hog roast rolls, bratwurst, woodfired flatbreads, raclette, crêpes and giant marshmallows for toasting around the firepit, and not to mention live music to keep the festive fun flowing with a swing.
Half a bottle of wine per person selected by our Sommelier will accompany your feast.
And for the children – don’t forget to stop by Reception to collect your carrots for the reindeers and mince pies and milk to place by the fire, ready for Santa’s arrival at Pennyhill Park after you’re tucked up and dreaming of Christmas magic.
For those who wish to attend, there are midnight services at our local churches. On your return we will serve hot toddies and mince pies before you tiptoe off to bed to dream of what Santa might bring you!

The big day is here! Our elves have been busy prepping, sprucing, and perfecting to give you and your loved ones a truly magical Christmas experience, so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy.
Start your day with a peaceful morning in the spa, unwinding with a swim or relaxing in the hydrotherapy pool. For those feeling energetic, join our 5K Santa Dash after breakfast to get into the festive spirit.
Christmas Day
Thursday 25th December 2025
Our Christmas lunch is a feast for the ages and there are plenty of different activities to help make this Christmas your best one yet.
From 7am—10am
Start the day with a Champagne, caviar and smoked salmon breakfast in Themis – lots to choose from but not too filling.
Morning
There’s plenty of time to relax with your family and friends until the main event… The spa will be open from 7am to 2pm, (children’s splash time 9am to 11am) for a workout in the gym or a morning of relaxation in the pools and thermal experiences before lunch. Or join the fitness team at 8am for the 5km Santa Dash. Santa hats are provided but further fancy dress is encouraged!
12:30pm
Join us in Hillfield Bar before the Christmas feast for Ridgeview English sparkling wine and tasty nibbles.
Lunch
Five-course traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings with family style served vegetables and unlimited roasties!
Half a bottle of wine per person selected by our Sommelier will accompany your meal.
Afternoon
A chance for rest and relaxation – perhaps a stroll around the gardens, a sneaky snooze after watching the King’s Speech at 3pm, or head to Hillfield Bar to enjoy the soothing sounds from our pianist.
7.30pm
A light buffet and a half bottle of wine per person selected by our Sommelier will be served in the Balmoral suite for Christmas evening – grab your tables as it’s followed by our quiz master for those looking to test their knowledge and have some fun.
Rum pum pum pum
Blow away the cobwebs with a relaxing experience in our award-winning spa. With a 60-minute treatment included for every adult during the festive stay, you may have booked yours to enjoy today or tomorrow - so you can indulge in the best and feel your best. Make the most of the day and head into the fresh air to test your skills with a round of archery.
Lunch will be available for you to book in either Hillfield or Themis, but save plenty of room for a delectable dinner in the evening.
Boxing Day
Friday 26th December 2025
From 8am
Start the day with a full English breakfast served in Hillfield Restaurant.
The spa is open from 8am to 8pm, with children’s indoor pool splash time from 10am until noon. Hit the gym, feel recharged and invigorated, or maybe just lift your spirits rather than your heart rate and relax, restore and rejuvenate in our spa haven.
If you’re leaving us today then we would kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11am. You are welcome to stay with us a little longer and enjoy the spa until 2pm.
Morning
Make the most of a countryside Boxing Day and escape and embrace the great outdoors. Kick-start your day - and your circulation - with the exhilarating Boxing Day dip in our cold-water pool at 8am, hosted by our fitness team. Cold water swimming is known for boosting endorphins, sharpening the mind, and setting you up for the day with an incredible sense of wellbeing and achievement.
After your dip, keep the energy flowing: hop on one of our hotel bikes, pull on your wellies and explore our beautiful parkland and gardens. Or try your hand at archery with our expert instructor - a sport that’s more about technique and focus than strength, and great fun for all ages and abilities.
Lunch
For guests staying tonight there’s a £40 per person allowance to enjoy your choice of dishes from the spa’s Themis menu, our Hillfield Bar menu, or room service.
From 6pm
Join us for a glass of Ridgeview English sparkling wine and canapés in Hillfield Bar.
From 7pm
Book your table and enjoy a three-course à la carte menu and Sommelier’s choice of a half bottle of wine per person in Hillfield restaurant.
Dinner
After dinner, join us in the bar as our swinging Jazz Trio play into the night until 11pm.

Today is your last day with us and we hope you’ll leave with lots of memories to cherish.
