All you need is love High Elms Manor is a grade 11 listed country house in Hertfordshire.

Built towards the end of the 18th Century, it is an intimately grand venue set with 21 acres of gardens and woodland. The Manor boasts a beautiful, unique feature of a mosaic floor within the entrance. There are floor to ceiling windows throughout allowing floods of natural light. The many original, period features add character and charm to the interior.

High Elms Manor enjoys a beautiful, rural setting within easy reach of major transport links and close to the M1 & M25.

As a private house, we have none of the limitations of a hotel enabling guests to create their own bespoke wedding day or event. Our team is available to help realise ideas, advise and provide any recommendations you might need.

A GREAT WEDDING

Stays with you forever Civil marriage ceremonies High elms manor is licensed for civil ceremonies up to 150 guests both inside and outside.

Please contact us to discuss any specific requirements you may have. The area registrar may be contacted on 0300 123 4045 to make the necessary arrangements.

Approved suppliers We work with a selection of approved suppliers who will add all the finishing touches to your special day including theming, cakes, flowers, photography and music. When choosing High Elms Manor for your wedding, whether for the Ceremony and Reception or just the Reception, we can guarantee you a wonderful day.

Brides room The Brides Room has large mirrors and beautiful features perfect for a bride to prepare for her wedding. It is also a room where the newly weds can keep their belongings and catch a private moment on their special day.

Not to forget the Groom, we have the lounge room available for the Groomsmen on the morning of their wedding.

Wedding Receptions The terrace is a perfect area for your drinks reception, overlooking the expansive lawn. The Georgian house provides a gorgeous backdrop with the grounds and woodland for photo opportunities. The lawn is ideal for guests to enjoy garden games of your selection.

The wedding breakfast is held in the ballroom with its ornately decorated ceiling and dual aspect windows. We can accommodate 110 guests for a seated meal and a maximum of 180 for the evening reception or cocktail party. The rooms can be arranged for a smaller number to feel comfortable in the space.

We offer complete exclusivity with our venue hire.

2016/17 Prices: Saturdays & bank holiday Sundays - £4,500 Sunday to Friday - £4,000 Ceremony (in addition to reception) - £500 Civil Ceremonies only - £1,000-£1,800 depending on numbers Extra Costs – corkage fee for independently sourced alcohol and a fee for external caterers.

All prices are inclusive of VAT. The venue is available to hire for parties and other events, please contact for prices.
