EVOKE POLISHED PLATER INTERIORS Since the inception of my company, Evoke Polished Plaster, in the late 1990s, my determination to provide products and service of a quality impossible to match has never wavered.

I know that having only the finest materials will enable us to create the most exquisite surface finishes, so we source our Polished Plaster, Venetian Plaster and Stucco straight from Milan in Italy where it has been used for centuries.

Hard work, dedication and an enduring passion for the product have enabled us to constantly evolve the techniques we use and the designs we produce, applying the attention to detail and level of commitment that are essential to achieve a great result, every time.

Our discerning clients come from near and far – the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East – in their quest for the best. DRAGGED This finish is uniformly rough with the slight variations in colour intensity that are typical of lime-based products. The directional drag creates the illusion of rugged weathered stone left for decades to the elements. Extra impact can be created with the application of colour washes.

SPATULA STUHHI This is undoubtedly our flag ship product. Spatula Stuhhi delivers depth with a high gloss finish and a very smooth texture, reflecting the light in a myriad of ways with a gradual movement between colour values. Strength and resistance to moisture are also characteristics of this beautiful contemporary finish.

SPIRITO LIBERO Spirito Libero – ‘the free spirit’ – was particularly popular in Venice during its years of heady splendour. Here, the artisan has the opportunity to create his own masterpiece, achieving a wonderfully smooth finish which nonetheless can reveal a fluidity of movement through the careful application of a single, soft colour. Subtle shadings, capricious patterns colour washes and waxes can further draw the eye … alternatively, the finish can be left untreated for a more rugged feel.

This finish can be achieved in a two coat semi broken finish or a three coat smooth finish washes can also be added

TRAVERTINE Travertine exists naturally in white, tan, cream, and even rusty varieties. True to its name, our Travertine finish gives the impression of natural stone, often with a fibrous or concentric texture and a torn and burnished finish. The effect of this is to suggest numerous colour tones creating the directional appearance and feel of natural Travertine. It can be shaped into block work or panels to resemble a solid stone block wall.

PITTED This finish creates the look and feel of honed stone and the details of the pit and pattern can be adjusted by the artisan’s hand. The very raw, very natural, finish can be enhanced by adding colour or metallic washes to create a two-tone appearance.

It will seem more rugged still when combined with smooth areas which emphasise its natural stone character.

ISTINTO Istinto is a large-grained marble plaster which provides a rugged appearance similar to worn, split or polished stone These unique, stunning finishes provide style, elegance and sophistication wherever they are used – at home or in the workplace.

We are very proud to have recently worked on this famous brasserie-style restaurant in the heart of London’s Mayfair.

CONCRETE Currently proving very popular in the UK, these seamless finishes have been created to give the impression of cast concrete. Typically produced in panels or blocks, their shade and colour can be adjusted to personal taste; likewise the physical appearance can be made to emphasize honed, weathered or distressed concrete.

STENCILS We offer all interior designers and architects knowledge and advice when using polished plaster in banding, block work, panels, curves, columns and logo designs. We can use a combination of finishes when applying these creative bespoke finishes. Using a variety of colour washes and metallic waxes these can all further enhance the beauty of these polished plaster finishes.
