ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The automotive industry is investing $500 billion into e-mobility (electric, connected, shared, and autonomous vehicles) with a growth projection of 2 million+ new jobs across the country Currently, there is a lack of diverse talent in the STEAM workforce, particularly in the e-mobility space

In efforts to bridge this gap, EVHybridNoire (501c3), one of the leading voices in the e-mobility sector, launched the E-Mobility Fellowship Program in universities across the country. The first of its kind, the E-Mobility Fellowship Program is a brand-neutral pipeline program in partnership with e-mobility companies/organizations. This ground-breaking and competitive program exposes students to some of the leading voices in the following industries:

Automotive/E-Mobility Manufacturers

Utilities & Energy Co-operatives

Dealerships

Rideshare & Delivery Network Companies

Government Agencies

Transit Agencies

EV Charging Network Companies

Automotive/E-Mobility Suppliers

Nonprofits and more

EVHybridNoire envisions this program as an ongoing, scalable initiative that adds a new dimension to our continued efforts to increase diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the e-mobility sector

By building personal and professional relationships with our program partners, students will learn best practices that deepen their educational and career potential

Student Fellowship Program

Kicking off in the Fall 2023 - Spring 2024

All majors and disciplines welcome to apply Upon completion, students will receive an EVHN E-Mobility Certification & potential job placement

Curriculum input/co-development from designated Faculty Advisors and E-Mobility partners

Hybrid learning experience

Participants who complete the curriculum will obtain an E-Mobility Certification

Online courses facilitated via virtual sessions throughout the course of the program

Pre-reading materials will be provided prior to sessions to maximize student engagement

Students will convene for sessions workshops, in-person site visits, check-ins, and more

PROGRAM BENEFITS

Participating colleges and universities will solidify their role as key partners in diversifying the electric, connected, shared and autonomous automotive emobility/transportation industry. In addition, they will ensure that their students are equipped with the industry awareness, skills, and contacts necessary to succeed in a quickly growing and heavily-invested industry. The admissions process is designed to select students based on demonstrated academic achievement, professional skills, and leadership potential.
