OUR STORY

Harris Vacations began in 1983 when Steve and Becky Harris purchased their ﬁrst beach cottage in Fort Morgan, Alabama. Since then, the company has grown from a family-run operation to managing over close to 200 properties along the Gulf Coast. Brian Harris, having been involved since childhood, continues the legacy by offering the best owner experience possible through innovative systems, cutting-edge marketing, and a commitment to making every guest's vacation memorable.

“When do you start the clock?" This is my typical response when asked how long I have been in the vacation rental business. My parents, Steve and Becky Harris, bought their ﬁrst beach cottage in 1983 when I was just four months old. So, if you start the clock then, I have been in the business my whole life. And what a great business to be a part of!

I grew up as an owner and investor. My family and I are still owners and investors in the coastal sand. This gives me a unique perspective on how to build upon the systems that form our business. We strive to have a better, more valuable owner experience in everything we do.

How are we doing that? I'm glad you asked!

Absolutely beautiful house and perfect location directly on the beach with fabulous views of the water. The outside warm water showers were especially helpful with all the little ones we had with us. We had plenty of room to spread out inside and outside with the massive wrap-around porches on each level. Thank you for a wonderful place for our family vacation!

We would recommend this rental. Plenty of room in the house and the direct beach access was great! We felt like the beach was less crowded being away from the condo area which we all enjoyed. Fort Morgan Volunteer Fire Department

As part of our commitment to give back to the local community, we donate $1 per booking reservation to a charity fund supporting the Fort Morgan Volunteer Fire Department. This donation helps ensure the ﬁre department has the necessary supplies and resources to keep locals and visitors safe.

South Baldwin Literacy Council

Harris Vacations founder, Brian Harris, is actively involved in making an impact in Baldwin County by working with the South Baldwin Literacy Council to provide free educational literacy programs, speciﬁcally ﬁnancial literacy. Engel & Völkers Gulf Shores, the real estate arm of Harris Vacations, has committed to donating $100 per real estate transaction.
