“Our ability to quickly adapt is crucial to providing critical care, and these renovations help us plan for the future by building in the flexibility to integrate new systems and equipment, without adding complexity to the patient’s bedside or requiring further renovations.” Dr. Melissa Lee, EvergreenHealth Medical Director of Critical Care The new ICU creates intentional spaces within patient rooms, and across the unit, that welcome and include families in their loved one’s care, with private consultation rooms for families to gather as a group, seek solitude or talk with their clinical team.
