The inaugural Cars and Coffee for a Cause was held on September 26 at MidCity District. The event served to raise funds for the Lee Coggins Patient Care Fund through the Huntsville Hospital Foundation. Organizers plan to host the event twice per year, in the fall and spring.

Around 1000 guests attended the event that featured 400 cars and raised more than $7,500 for the cause. Coffee was provided by The Camp, who also served as sponsor along with MidCity District.

“Thank you to everyone who brought their car and helped us raise funds for oncology patients in North Alabama!” said Kelly Ann Sparks-Berger, event organizer.
