The North Alabama Zoological Society hosted a fundraiser on October 14 at Creekside at Collier’s End. Around 160 guests attended including Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill, Athens Mayor Ronnie Marks, and State Representative Andrew Sorrell.

Fare was catered by Shay la Vie and Baby Bite Bake Shop with flowers and décor arranged by NALZS Staff. Boyd Family Farms and Huntsville Ballet provided entertainment for the social.

Sponsors included Google Fiber, Chapman Commercial Realty, and Barge Design Solutions.

“It was a picturesque evening where the guests mingled and got to see what North Alabama’s zoo and aquarium will look like,” said NALZ Executive Director Ethan Woodruff. n
