Barry has been a chartered surveyor and professional valuer for over 35 years and his wife Shirley and daughter Katy complete the team. We are aware that in today’s market there is strong competition when it comes to fees and we certainly look to reflect that in our own charges. In our view, however, it is far more important that your estate agent provides you with the highest possible level of service and in that regard we make absolutely no compromise.

Ours is a modern, shop-less operating model meaning that you will not find us sitting physically alongside our more traditional competitors in the High Street. From a marketing perspective that bricks and mortar presence has today a distinctly anachronistic feel about it with all agents effectively sharing a single, digital shop window provided by the leading internet portals. This can only be a good thing for the industry in that an agent is henceforward more likely to be selected on its professional standards and the quality of its people than on those outmoded, physical credentials. With the development of modern estate agency (doubtless accelerated by the COVID pandemic) the plate glass window is, in any event, likely to very soon become an irrelevant anachronism and we now effectively have a level playing field for both big and small players alike.

About St Mary’s - Who We Are Our Purpose
Building a Community to Reach a Community with the Love of God PARISH PROFILE Chart Lane Reigate Surrey RH2 7RN Tel: 01737 221100 www.stmaryreigate.org 6 5 Building a Community to reach a Community with the Love of God St Mary’s is a vibrant, flourishing, open-evangelical church, which is passionate about living the Gospel message in the heart of Reigate. We believe that God has called us into partnership with Him to see our parish and wider community transformed by His love. In this mission, we are committed to playing our part as:
A WELCOMING Community • A church that seeks to be open and accessible to all, inviting everyone to experience God’s infinite love and welcome. • A caring community in which the needs of others are recognised and acted upon. A LIVING & LIVELY Community • A community in which real life is shared, lived out and celebrated. • Where life in all its fullness (John 10:10) is something we work towards together. • Where worship is marked by a sense of God’s presence and life changing power. A SHARING Community • Where life, faith and hope are freely shared and lived out in our wider community. • An outward looking, mission minded community that cares for the needs of others. • A church that seeks to live out the gospel message of love, of freedom, of equality and of justice both locally and globally. • A church where generosity flows in response to God’s generosity – where we are all encouraged to give as well as receive. A GROWING Community • A church with a desire to know God better, where there is a hunger to engage with the Bible and to grow in prayer and service. • A community with a desire to learn with and from each other as fellow disciples of Jesus Christ. • A church growing spiritually and numerically, and growing in confidence as we experience God working in and through us is his world. Our Staff
St Mary’s is blessed with a dedicated and able staff team who work together to lead and coordinate us in worship, discipleship and pastoral care. Historically, we have been a training parish for curates
Associate Vicars Helen Fraser and Kate Capper are our Associate Vicars; each of them works three days a week plus Sundays. Helen has been with us for approaching three years and Kate has been with us for 18 months.
Associate Ministers We have four Associate Ministers.
Ali Foulkes is our full time Associate Minister responsible for music and worship.
Matt Harris is our full time Associate Minister responsible for Youth (school years 7-13)
Karen Girdler and Lynn Lobb are part-time Associate Ministers who are responsible for children in preschool, reception and school years 1-6.
Honorary Assistant Clergy We have two further ordained Ministers who lead and preach. Danielle Robinson is a retired Hospital Chaplain and licensed Assistant Priest attached to St Mary’s, while Mike Fox is a retired Vicar with Permission to Officiate.
Lay Ministers Alongside the less formalised lay ministry that many members of St Mary’s take part in, we have a licensed Reader, Ian Nott, recently moved to Reigate; and one member of the Church family, Judith Littlemore in training as a Southwark Pastoral Auxiliary.
Administrative Team Led by Operations Manager, Viv Hawes who is responsible for the smooth running of the church, our seven part time administrative and operational staff equate to 3.4 full time equivalents. They are supported by a large number of committed volunteers including our Treasurer, Alastair Rubie and Deputy Treasurer, Fiona Gent

There is an educational need for these new facilities at RGS, together with an aspiration to create a new, high-quality sports centre that will allow the school to expand its commitment to a healthy sports and activity based curriculum.
The building will deliver the educational benefits of an onsite sports and PE provision for 1,100 senior school students.
The sports hall will be a full sized six-court multi-functional space offering a wide range of indoor sports and activities that will support the wellbeing and development of our students as well as members of the community.
In addition to transforming the sport provision for students at the school, these high-quality sports facilities will be made available to parents and neighbours through “Club RGS” with access to a fully equipped gym, fitness suite and yoga studio with evening and weekend classes for members outside of school hours. Our current facilities fall short of those offered by all the other Reigate schools and this project aims to remedy this deficiency.

PERFORMANCE
High-Performance Hub The High-Performance Hub supports anyone to achieve their potential, including sport scholars. The Hub uses a sporting focus with activities, workshops and presentations designed to support people within the wider context of the school as a High-Performance Learning Centre. We help pupils to understand and develop a wide range of skills including: Lifestyle, Health & Wellbeing – nutrition guidance, conditioning Psychological skills, including self-regulation and distraction control Personal development skills, such as self-reflection and planning ‘Team Reigate’ behaviours, accountability, commitment and selflessness RGS’ Sports Scholars’ Development Programme The High-Performance Hub supports anyone to achieve their potential, including Sport Scholars. The Sport Scholarship programme is designed to support pupils who have been identified as having high sporting potential. These pupils are likely to attend many of the events and activities in the Hub. However, being a scholar includes a more managed process where pupils will be mentored and supported on an individual basis to meet their sporting targets. At the appropriate time in a sports scholar’s development, the development programme will include: A scholarship mentor to help the scholar maintain balance and manage the pressures of academic, social and sporting life A personal strength and conditioning programme to support performance Seminars delivered by industry specialists to prepare scholars for the demands of elite sport Elite pathway support Injury rehabilitation support and guidance from physiotherapists All pupils, including scholars, are a part of our long-term athlete development programme which aims at maximising enjoyment, sporting potential and transferable benefits from sport into other areas of life both as a child and in preparation for adult life. Sports scholarships are available at 11+, 13+ and 16+.
