EXHIBITIONS: _ Now! Le Off! at «Paris Design Week» (Paris, France, 2011) _ Meuble Paris (Paris, France, 2010) _ VIA/LES ECOLES/2010 (Paris, France, 2010).

OBJECTS FROM ANOTHER AGE DIPLOMA PROJECT Rethink high tech tools to make them undestood by the elderly. To reduce learning curve anxiety and the risk of errors, object design is based on observation of real world habits and needs. A clear and obvious gesture for each object minimizes the use of a GUI.

The Frame CALL AND SEE The framework is directly inspired by picture frames. On one side mirror and the other screen with camera, it allows to enter video chat with friends and family in one motion. Indeed, to start the conversation, simply tilt the mirror side of the screen. This gesture very identifiable, allows, among other things, to hide a single move the camera. We are sure not to be seen in spite of yourself.

The Mailbox TO SEND AND RECEIVE EMAILS This object, modeled as a classic mailbox, can receive mail. So it works by analogy but also formal gesture. Indeed, to acquaint themselves with their mail, remove the «letter» (a tablet here). To send a letter, you must «mail the letter.»

Dimensions : (Length) 200 mm x (Height) 420 mm x (Weight) 80 mm Materials: Sycamore, Corian, Toushscreen, electronics devices (Leds, Arduino, etc).

VISUALIZE DIFFERENTLY DIPLOMA PROJECT This series proposes to address the reading time other than the single sense of sight. This is the time to read through movement and touch. This constraint eliminates codes governing the physical representation of time. It’s a part of my diploma research about disabilities and creation with the Manifesto and “Object from another age”.

The Timer DIPLOMA PROJECT From the serie Visualize differently Time folds and unfolds into himself. The timer consists origami starts by unfolding a volume according to the desired length. Gradually, as time passes, the remaining volume decreases. We read the length depending on its volume. Seeing and visually impaired to read the object in the same way, manipulating, feeling the amount of time remaining.

The Watch DIPLOMA PROJECT From the serie Visualize differently The watch can be worn as a necklace or bracelet, can read the time through vibrations (the small ring indicates the hours, the great shows minutes). This a tribute to the Louis Breguet’s watch, a principle used for the visually impaired.

Valu Lamp made from an aluminum plate laser cut and folded. Valu is between the light and the religious niche. Standing, she evokes the shape of a lamp stylized day. Posed on the back, she becomes a tray of highlight objects. By manipulating it modifies the intensity and direction of light. Light underlines the edges of the lamp and created a colorful gradient on these sections.

HOMU PORTABLE FIREPLACE Making fire with ancestral gestures.

Through a rereading of ancestral gestures, it enables us to enjoy the powers of the domesticated heat but also electricity. In fact, in addition to heat, bake, boil, sterilize, Homu converted heat into electricity through a thermoelectric device. And, we can recharge small batteries such as mobile phones or rechargeable batteries. Rather than expend energy, Homu creates energy. This makes it an ideal device for both sedentary using and outdoor.

My Cointreaupolitan box Design studio : BETC design Promotional box for Cointreau and Dita Von Teeseelderly. My Cointreaupolitan Box is a promotional box for Christmas and New Year 2009-2010 signed by Dita Von Teese, Cointreau muse. With the rest of the team, I was able to participate in its development at Betc design: creative research volumes and graphics, packaging, design showcase, mood board, etc. It was to imagine a box like Dita Von Teese could draw it. My graphic design was selected by Dita.

The ground An elevation from the ground, defines a passage area and a work area.

This project was carried out during a workshop with the theme of rest and relaxation at work. He was talking to study the case of the Orange site VivierMerle Lyon, occupied by a call center. This project was designed with two other designers. We chose to rework the different workspaces and spaces of circulation: in the open space in the inter-team workplace.

THE ORIGINE: This project is born from a thinking about the concept of disability and objects that are commonly designed for these particularities of life. CONTEXTE 'H¿FLHQF\ FDQ KDSSHQ DW DQ\ WLPH DQG ZLOO DIIHFW DOO RI us. We carry its possibility within us, we know it but we do not plan. One day, we will all doing the experience of disability. The term disability covers both minor disabilities (such as the gradual decline of view) or heavier (such as motor or mental disability).

Having a disability is not to be representative of a standard or does not match the ideal human being. The concept of disability depends on the culture and time. Being nearsighted or left was a handicap towards a standard but is no longer experienced as such.

4_ More a system is versatile, it’s less easy to use. 5_ Accessibility favors simple relationship to the object. 6_ Promote a better experience overall functionality.

Exclusion by objects MASTER THESIS Supervisor: Marc Monjou (semiologist specializing in design)

Are there items of exclusion? How can they be representative of how one segment of society sees another social group? This thesis attempts to answer these questions using speci ic case studies as well as literatures from semiotics, sociology, psychology and design production. Through an analysis of the object and our perception of it, one may see if there can be

35

a relationship implicated between the individual and the group. Accounting for a social identity in relation to an object is not always easy but seems essential for those with an intention or perhaps simply an interest in object design. There exists a challenge to see how we socialize through everyday objects. What is the limit of the designer’s role in this relationship?

La Boucherie de Paris IDENTITY FOR A SPORT TEAM Graphic identity Realization of the graphic identity of the Roller Derby Team « The Butchery of Paris».
